My son was pushed out because he learns differently, and watching him cry over losing his school and friends has been heartbreaking. My biggest frustration is this school seems to prioritize high-performing students while children who struggle are treated as a problem instead of being supported. Despite small class sizes, it felt easier for them to remove a child who needed extra patience than help him succeed. A school should stand by children when learning is hard, not push them out. No family should have to explain to their child why a school they love no longer wants them. Find a school that values all learners, not just the ones who make things easier.
