You can find nice furniture to help get someone on their way in a new apartment. And their prices are great.

Pretty good prices and a wide array of clothes and misc. They accept donations onsite too.

Another one of my favorite things is that they offer a rewards program, which is unlike what i've seen other thrift stores offer. They have a "round-up" to the nearest dollar option, along with accepting donations, to donate to local families in need of support with food, clothing, & shelter. S.V.D.P. seems to understand the state of our economy and they price all items at very reasonable costs. The only thing i'd like to see different is for the dressing rooms to be re-opened. They have been closed in all stores supposedly, due to rise in theft. In my opinion, it would be very nice if they would have customers ask to try on clothes at the register, then they could send an associate to the count the number of items someone would like to try on and wait outside the fitting room to account for those items. This is a process most companies use for fitting rooms & I feel it would be more convenient for customers to ensure they truly want to buy the item. I also feel this could boost sales, as folks would be able to guarantee they want the clothing item, opposed to not buying it because they're unsure if it would fit.

If you rush through the store you'll miss a lot, so take your time! It's full of trendy, classic, and unique handbags, jewelry, and accessories, accessories, accessories. Did I mention the accessories? Put your pocketbook whoas to rest - they've got a little something for everyone. I still remember getting my first Little Hooker there and feeling oh so special (it's a jeweled hanger to keep your handbag off the floor while dining out ;), before it showed up in gift bags at the Oscars. I tried a rew places while shopping in Squirrel Hill, but alas came up empty handed. Spoiled Chic's did not disappoint however. I bought my friend some nice Ombre scarves from Two's Co. One was a nice solid, the other a bold chevron pattern knit scarf. I saw a few items I would have enjoyed for myself too, but so much to buy, so little money. One thing that I like is Spoiled Chics has a lot of merchandise that's made in the USA and is NOT sweat-shop sourced. They also buy a lot of items from female enterpreneurs. And in the past they have supported several womens' causes.
