They also sell frozen and steamed pastry without filling - mantou. Open from 8 am to 6 pm 7 days per week. We took the food back to the Meriton Apartment on the 72 floor and had the view of the city whilst chowing down. As there was a full kitchen in the apartment we were able to have all the hot beverages with our dim sim.

The best way to do your shopping is to head into the the butchers first and take your meat with you to do your groceries. This IGA really is something special! Full of difficult to find foods as well as the everyday staples. I was very surprised to find raw, sugar free vegan chocolate and many other interesting products that aren't usually found in the average supermarket. Chicken, beetroot and alfalfa? Sure! Ham, mayonnaise, lettuce and preserved lemon? No problem. No butter? Of course. And Emporio does it as well as the best - pick your bread (regular or sour dough; bun, baguette or bagel etc) then go to town. A personal favourite is the chicken schnitzel with mayonnaise and chilli sauce plus whatever salad I'm in the mood for. They don't come cheap, but you won't need dinner.
