I can not fathom how these people here runs the businesses. I showed them these work. The lady. Seems to be an manager? Said sorry. I don't know how she does her work next time I'll give you someone better and the lady didn't cut my nails evenly and do polish correctly. And the heels. Ahem..... I had to ask her to clean under my toe nails because obviously my old polish with polish remover was under there as it was gray. I told them I'm not paying for this because that is less than what I could even pay for. Merely any massages. She is not even an employee there? If you don't know how she works? They won't even fix it because I waited till after she polished my toes?! The male finally yelled at me and told me to leave. As I repeated that I will not pay discounted price instead of them fixing. (I was there long time already) I am typing this up in parking lot at the place. I've came here more than few times and had decent experience. Guess I'm not coming back. Will suggest all of my friends to deter away. They have camera EVERYWHERE. They can date/time this review and see how crappy the lady did my pedicure. That was last thing I was complaining about regarding my massage or everything else. First time. Had booked an appointment (with Lee) and got seated almost immediately. She did an amazing job with shaping and not giving me thick nails. The one thing I missed and loved at other salons was getting my nails properly trimmed in terms of cuticles, with warm water and all that. I wanted to try a Jelly pedicure and Sala is one of very few places that offers it. Kim took care of me and she was wonderful. She was kind, knowledgeable, and professional. I probably won't get a Jelly pedicure again because it was basically just messy but I would go back to see Kim for another kind of pedicure. The Luxury Pedi is probably what I would do since the Jelly includes all of those services. So I came in because I'm having a ruff time and wanted to fix myself up. When I came into the salon I had felt a strong presence that wasn't very welcoming. I later found out they found one of their customers hurt in the bathroom and they ended up getting into it with her. This did not help the atmosphere. I requested almond nails and ended up with these cat claws! I was extremely uncomfortable the entire time. The polish is not well executed either. Long story short, these are awful and I hate them very much. I know this place does a much better job than this and can't understand what went wrong today. I wanted to leave as soon as possible. It's pretty disappointing that I can't respond to the owners comment so I've decided to add to my review. I could not make up a lie that they had issues with the customer being passed out in the bathroom I heard multiple of the nail techs talking about it saying how The client said this happens to her yearly I even heard the nail techs saying they had to proceed to call the ambulance this is nothing I could make up so I think it's pretty disrespectful that this owner would try to make it out as if I'm a liar! I've never had a problem here and I've been coming here since I was in high school. I decided to take my Spanish-speaking mother to get a pedicure. This was her first time there. I didn't catch the name of the lady, but she asked me if my mom was from here and I told her no she is from Mexico. she then proceeds to tell my mom that because this America she needs to learn to speak English. She didn't know that although my mom doesn't speak English she can very much understood it. my mom understood everything she said, but stayed quiet, and instead cried on the way home I will never be coming here again due to the discrimination that my mother experienced. it's sad because this was my favorite nail salon that I've been coming to since 2018. please please do better.. kindness Is all it takes. read more

I don't usually get my nails done because I'm afraid of the damage to my nails. I have really thin splitting nails. I went in initially for just a shellac color. However, I saw someone doing a powder dip nail color and I decided to do that instead. Best choice I ever made!! They did have to file my nails but very very slightly. Nothing that would damage my thin nails too much. The powder basically creates a nice thick strong coat on your natural nail. It lasted almost 3 weeks. I could have gone longer because they weren't coming up or chipping, it was just that the grow length was too long for my liking. I went back again today and Lynne did my nails. Holy cow they are so perfect and amazing. She's literally the queen of powder dip perfection! I would definitely recommend this place and a powder dip if you want strong coat on your natural nail without too much filing on the nail bed. read more

A week ago today I went into Sala for a dipping powder manicure. The sign-in process was nice and the people were just lovely. I'd made an appointment, and was seated on time. But, the technician was a little tardy in showing up and, although she was nice and took care to do a good job, the manicure has been a big disappointment. Because we travel regularly, we don't stay in one place long enough to build a relationship with a technician, and maybe this is a problem. Maybe it's the product they use, or maybe it's a training issue. Within 2 days the surface of 4 nails had cracked and the dipping powder came off of all 4 nails within the next 24 hours. The corners of another nail has chipped off and two other corners are about to crack off. Nice people who seem to care about their clients, but the product doesn't last. I tried a dip manicure and a deluxe pedi. It was a little pricey... $100 for both, but Amy did a fantastic job. The dip manicure was flawless and has lasted 4 weeks. If you love in the area and are not going to Sala Salon for your nail needs, you are missing out. Each time I come here, it is busier than the last; I sometimes get territorial over my favorite places, but this family owned business deserves all the business. They are as kind as they are talented. The salon is unassuming from the outside; I live less than a mile from here and I have overlooked it many times. I was surprised at how quiet and relaxing it was inside, and happy to see a diverse, smiling clientele. Lina is meticulous. She has been doing my mom's nails since she got shoulder surgery, and is always kind and patient as she and my mom work around her injury. She always does a fabulous job and my mom's manicures last for a long time! I do have to say that Lynn is my personal favorite employee, because not only is she talented, but she gives honest opinions and is fun to talk to. I've been helped by many different nail techs, so I know you can't go wrong with Roy or Mimi, and it's likely the same for all other employees too. I use Yelp to book my appointments ahead of time, and I've found that this is clutch on days when it's really busy. As I was traveling one of my nails broke. I went to this salon, as it had one of the highest ratings in the area. Oh well, I was already there so I decided to go for a Mani and Pedi. I was very happy with both. The only thing I wish it would have last longer is the massage with the hot stones. I had my nails done else where and 2 days later a nail popped off, they put acrylic on my cuticles and the coffin shape was sloppy. So i made a appointment and they took me right away when i arrived, I had Tom as my technician. He agreed that i previously had a sloppy nail job. Just got done and in the car. Stopped in just to get an eyebrow wax and figured since my last nightmare of a saloon was months ago I'll get a reg mani-pedi. Let me preface this by saying this place was very friendly from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. It was my first tome, I had found it on Yelp and the reviews were all very good. I got the dip polish(second time getting it) I was stuck between a solid color and a French ombré. Knowing the ombré would be a risk, I took it anyway. Unfortunately the risk didn't pay off, the woman who did my nails was very friendly, not very talkative (unfortunately I didn't get her name, just knew she was sat next to all the gel polishes behind the wall of the front desk) I got a couple cuts on my cuticles on both hands, some a little deeper than others and sadly the ombré wasn't very blended(think the layers of candy corn) Also when asked for oval nails, they came out more round than anything. All in all, I do plan on returning to Sala, I will just need to find the people that everyone on Yelp is going to. read more

I came here for the first time to get a full pink and white set and a pedicure. I was treating myself after a long week!! They were very accommodating and got me in the same day after work. When I arrived the place was spacious and clean, and I was seated and asked if I wanted some water or tea/coffee. There were large tv's to watch while I got my pedicure. My nail tech was friendly and we had a good conversation. He welcomed me to CO (as I've been here less than a year), and did a great job shaping my acrylics. I like a more natural look, and they are very open to your feedback on shape, thickness, # of coats etc. My pedicure was fantastic!! I chose the $45 one, there are a LOT of options. My pedicure included some sort of soak with confetti, and smelled awesome! I also got to chose from 4 different aromatherapy blends for my service. I chose the orange scent as I needed to energize. I believe they had lavender, green tea and another scent as well. My favorite part of ANY pedicure is the chair (and foot massage). The chairs are good quality and they individualize all their foot baths with sanitary liners. My tech did a great job on my pedicure. The second time I went for a fill (today) & got baby pink nails with an accent nail. They are great looking and again, the techs were friendly and got me in the same day after work! Once again great service!! This is my second time here and I loved the service. I just came in for a quick refill on my nails and was in and out in 1 hour. I did go in on a late Thursday evening but they did not make me feel rushed. She still took her time and fixed my nails really well. The shop itself is really cozy. They have refreshments like coffee and water. The pedicure chairs are comfy and to the other side of that are the nail stations- comfy as well. And there are TVs all around for your entertainment. The prices are reasonable. And the staff is really friendly. The first time I came in I did a full set with shellac polish and chromed tips and I must say that shellac stuff is great! I had wash my newly dyed hair, which is black, and my nails did not tint from the hair dye. In fact the shellac never chipped or rubbed off even after I tried to take off the polish with nail polish remover. Apparently you need 100% acetone polish remover in order to take off the shellac and it's a process so I just waited until my fill to change my color. Just FYI.. lol read more
