Footique always takes great care of me. I've been going here since I've moved into the neighborhood a few years ago and it is always the best. Best I've found in Aurora, honestly. The ladies are always so nice and everything is always clean I continually get the Jelly Spa pedicure here. It comes with a hot stone massage as well as paraffin wax for your heels. I also get the silk nail extensions for my manicure. This is not an acrylic but a more gel based nail tip. They always do a wonderful job with this manicure. The service itself was great! I did a spa pedicure which had extended massage, hot stone massage, and paraffin wax for your heels. The only issue I have, is that I wants a gel pedicure, and while I did get one, it peeled away in a whole chunk the very next day. It's been about 10 days and my feet have been in shoes most of the time and I have lost 6 whole nails. They didn't chip or grow out, they just are no longer attached to my toenails. I selected the Jelly Spa pedicure which is a relaxing fluffy jelly that exfoliates and hydrates dry skin. Both the pedicure and manicure include massages by hand and hot stones. There are lots of colors to choose from in both regular polish, gel, and dip powder. Amazing oldies from the 80s& 90s played from the speaker. This was a worrisome visit. I requested a simple French pedicure, and my daughter requested the French manicure with gel. The woman did not know how to draw the white line across my toes properly. Then when I tried to explain to make the line thicker. She had no understanding. My daughters were not any better another woman completed her manicure, and it was just as bad. She had nail polish smeared across her fingertips. There was no clean-up around her nails, and the white line was super thin. I am more than sure the owner was the woman who came over and corrected my nails and made the line thicker. My cuticles were not properly cut and cleared from my toes. The women who completed my feet and my daughters' nails were not professionals. I highly doubt they were licensed. I might need to let the State know. The French manicure is the basic skill taught in manicuring class (I know I took it), so you obviously are not licensed. I will not be giving them another try. Save yourself and visit the nail shop across the street in the Walmart shopping center. read more

Prices have gone up since my last pedicure here (go figure) and I can't say it was 100% worth it. I decided to treat myself to a mani pedi for Mother's Day. Made an appointment easily on Friday for Sunday morning. Again felt rushed picking out nail colors, but at least this time, my girl painted one nail and then checked with me to make sure I liked it. Ended up choosing a different manicure color because the one I'd first picked was way more translucent than expected. My girl burned my heel with the callous remover and commented multiple times on how dry my skin was. Like yes, I'm used to humid weather, so Colorado winters are horrible to my skin. There is no discount anymore for paying in cash, which is a bummer, but not a deal breaker. read more

I have frequented this salon multiple times before Covid but just for pedicures. They were pricey but convenient. I returned and started to do dipped nails in addition to the pedis. The first time I was overcharged but there was such a mess up with my grand daughter nails I let it go & we left. I returned about 3 weeks later for a fill and was charged for a full set. That was probably fair but she didn't tell me up front just waited til the end & had I been happy I would be writing a nicer review. My nails are moly the shape I asked for and several point in the wrong direction. I don't think I'm going to bother keeping up the nails at $65 each time it's simply an outrageous price and I'm not that vain. Greedy & being careless has cost you a long time customer. Let me just start and say this will be my last time here and honestly I have no idea how this place has business. Called and made a appointment for full set and pedicure/probably should have specified I wanted them at the same time since I don't have all day. I get there and they say they can only do one at a time which would mean I would be there for over 2 hours. Umm no thanks. The owner was very rude and everyone who works there looks miserable or they have seen a ghost. Now let's start with my nails. The lady who's name is Julia I believe barely spoke and kept hacking(dry cough) the entire time. She continually hurt me then I told her I wanted "almond shape". She didn't understand since maybe she doesn't know the proper way of saying almond. Now I ask for gel nails. She proceeds to try to tell me its more money. I'm thinking please lady I'm already spending money not my first time getting my nails done so I stopped her and said it's fine whatever the cost is. The end result is terrible not even sure what shape you call these but a clowns shoes come to mind. They are terrible and I'm now going to have to pay to get them redone. I'm upset!! Very upset. I used to go here and their prices were always always high, location is sketchy. Let's just say they have a store Nextdoor that is very .. questionable. I tried to ignore it. One woman there is very artistic, that's why I went. But unless you are one of their "VIP's " you get put last, you are told to wait even when you schedule 2 wks ahead, while still paying more. The owner is RUDE. I tried to reschedule a date and she didn't even bother to change it. My first pedicure ever and it didn't disappoint. The place is so chic and clean. The employees are all really friendly and nice. And social distancing is practiced and everyone is wearing a mask- something that seems so difficult for so many businesses to enforce. Because it was my first treat myself spa treatment, I went ahead with the orange peel. It felt so nice and my feet felt so smooth afterwards. The seats were comfortable. Love this place. Super clean, tons of colors, really professional setting and great service. The spa or jelly pedicure involves hot stone massage.. I go to Tchomi but I think they are all really good. The massage chairs are great. They use a new liner for each person. They do not have acrylic, just gel or dip services. My first time in, I heard great things about this place. Well, I wasn't in pressed. I was in and out in 35 mins, I had a basic pedicure and gel nail polish. It was 40 for the pedi, and 20 for the gel polish. I had regular polish on when I came in. I ask to see the menu, she said your getting the basic one. I not sure why I wasn't given the menu to make my own choice, I couldn't soak my toes until she had removed the polish and filed my toes. I just had the BEST nail experience. Just a small local place down the street from my house, across from Smokey Hill High School. I got a glittery dip for New Years and the technician really took time and care to smooth all the edges and make sure my nails wouldn't catch on my clothes or hair. Did everything by hand and really did an amazing job. Didn't rush, or skimp on any aspect. My technician was Julia. Very nice hard working nail pros. Me and my daughter went here for pedicures. We got t he $45 package which comes with clay wrap, hot towels, sugar scrub, hot stones 15min massage, polish, buffing. You get a 2min rub on your shoulder and back which is a nice final touch. The chairs are also very nice with many massage options! My feet look so pretty and soft now! My mother and I treated ourselves to manis and pedis for her birthday. We had never been here before but she found this place on yelp and wanted to try them out. They got us in quickly and were very attentive to what we wanted. I take away a star because the massage portion was subpar. I'm a massage therapist by trade and I understand these ladies work all day with their hands, I do too, but it felt like they were rushing through it. When they put the sugar scrub on my shins and feet, it felt like they were smearing it around as opposed to giving it a good scrub before rinsing it off. Besides that, I really enjoyed my experience. The prices are reasonable, they give discounts to patrons if you pay in cash, and my nails looked amazing for over two weeks! I would definitely come back here. Hot tip: take a half day at work and come here on a Wednesday morning! It was so nice and quiet, very relaxing. I'd messaged the business through yelp 2 days ago to make the appointment, they got back to me pretty much straight away saying ok. I was the only one there at 10am and in the time I was there (till 11.15am) only another 3 people had come in. Wendy did my pedicure, I got the eucalyptus one for $55; and get this, it only cost $55 at the check-out! Not like other places I'd been to that charge extra for polish or callus removal. She did a pretty decent job with the callus removal but I would have liked a little smoother. I'm almost a full 40 weeks pregnant and can't exactly reach my own feet to do it myself. It's not a full-on 5 star salon where you're offered tea, water or a magazine. Seems like the staff prefer you to relax than chat which suited me just fine. She was happy to get my flip flops out of my handbag and carry all my belongings over to the drying station. Great paint job and let me know that I got a $3 discount for paying cash. This is absolutely my go-to nail place from now on! read more

Update (01/2020): I found myself going to a different salon to have my fifth nail repaired and ended up having all my acrylics taken off and a new set put on. The technician said "there's no way these would have stayed. They were never glued on." As she easily popped the rest of them off from Footique. I'm very disappointed in the last service I received. (12/2019) I have been to Footique a few times now hoping my experience would be better - no such luck. My most recent visit was decent at best. The pedicure was fine, pretty standard in the grand scheme of things. I also got a full set - I am less than pleased. They looked good leaving the salon, but less than a week later I have already had to repair three nail. I am not rough on my hands. Their process is not conventional as the technician didn't use any glue. She used a type of gel base, then put the nails on. For the price paid for the full set ($50) I fully expected them to last. From here on out I will probably just end up going to a different salon. I am pretty disappointed given such great reviews and how clean and beautiful the salon read more

I have been to this place before and got a shellac mani pedi, and I know shellac is expensive, but I have never been charged 95 dollars(w/o tip!) at any other nail salon. The second time I went there I wanted to try out dip polish because I've heard good things about it (lasts the longest, doesn't chip) and not even a week since I got my nails done at this salon, one of my nails chipped and the rest of the dip polish popped off like it was nothing. It's a very nice salon, and they even include hot stone massages when getting your nails done, but for the price and for my dip manicures to chip and come off after 1 week of getting it... not worth it. My go to 5 star nail salon for 4 years is no more. The owner has apparently sold & this place is no longer under the same management. I go in every other week for a shellac manicure and every other month for a pedicure. Over the past few months I have seen all of the familiar faces slowly leaving and I've had a new technician every time I've gone in. The past 2 visits have been very subpar work and today was the last straw. I have been bleeding for 45 minutes from the large chunk of cuticle that was taken out. This was after they left my nails soaking for 35 minutes. Entire time at salon was 1hr 25 min for a basic shellac manicure with an appointment. Everybody else seems to have found this out as this place used to be hopping on a Saturday and today it had two customers there. So sad. I really enjoy this nail salon. Took me a minute to find one where I don't have to worry about what's going to go wrong with my manicure. This place is very consistent. You can expect to have a quality manicure or pedicure every time, as well as the process to be the same-ladies don't skip the massage or the products. I love the selection of products they offer. Regular old nail polish, gel, dip, acrylic, silk, variety of pedicure options and more. Super important to me as I stopped going to my last nail salon because they kept pushing me to get dip nails and I absolutely can't stand those. The student discounts are awesome too- those teenage girls get pricey and every 10 bucks I don't spend count! This is a large, nice open salon with an overall friendly staff. They have a decent selection of nail polish, gel, and SNS colors. One thing off the bat that I found odd was the $3 charge for the OPI shine (silver handle) polish. I know it's more expensive per bottle, but $3 for every time they apply it is outrageous. The pedicure I got was their basic level and pretty run of the mill. They didn't use the cheese grader which I appreciated and used a soft grinder like tool, but I would've also liked to have something more coarse like a pumice stone as my heels are still sort of rough. This is where I got the OPI shine polish and it looked nice and is holding up well. The manicure was SNS dip and I really like that they actually soak your nails and even a shoulder rub while they dry for a couple minutes, which was so nice! So while the appt went well, my nails are not holding up. It's been a week and a half now since having them done and a few days ago, the bottoms of my nails starting popping up. Many of them are lifted half way up and each time I wash my hair, style it, or scratch my head, hairs get stuck underneath and pull. I've not had this happen with SNS dip in the past, so I'm disappointed. That's my reasoning for an average rating. Wouldn't warn against the salon, but also won't recommend. read more

This salon is amazing. Great costumer service, clean, and professional. When you get there you are given a heated shoulder pad. They do your nails beautifully. Then afterwards you get a hot stone massage on your arms and hands, then a regular massage on your back. So lovely! Sue did my nails and she did a beautiful job making my snowflake.
