I came here on a whim as i was craving a salad for lunch. They have different options of salads. They are take out only. They also only offer curbside service. I called in my order, and it was ready 15 minutes later. She comes outside with the portable payment machine to your car. There is a number to call for your curbside service. The salad was delicious -- i got an extra dressing as it come sin a small condiment sauce cup. They write a bible scripture on the container. The chicken only comes grilled -- but the salad was filling. I would come back due to its proximity to work. On my way to Zaxby's for lunch,  ironically to buy a salad, I saw the sign for "Salads by Martha". Intrigued, I pulled into the shared parking lot and approached the restaurant.  A quick glance at the door/window revealed they were only accepting phone or curbside/intercom orders - no dine-in customers for the time being. There was already a line of cars waiting for their orders, and a friendly lady was bringing them out.  I placed my order with her, opting for the Southern Charm with a chicken breast instead of the chicken salad and no tomatoes. It turned out that the lady taking orders was Ms. McNeal, the mother of "Martha."  She was incredibly friendly, and my order was promptly delivered. The salad was very fresh and delicious. I have already been back a couple of times ordering from home and just driving over to pick up.  I definitely suggest everyone go support this local black owned business. read more

I have actually been waiting to try this place for years now and I'm so glad I did! First of all the customer service was impeccable! From the phone call order to the pick up. I don't know if that was Martha herself who answered the phone but she was so so nice and honestly I would have ate anything from her. However the salad was just as amazing. I found the service to be very good here. I ordered the chicken salad salad, because the girl at the counter said it's very popular. I was told the honey chipotle dressing was homemade, and BABYYYYY it was good. Had that nice lil hint of sweet + spice. The chicken salad was good and had raisins in it, which was a nice touch. The salads are presented beautifully, and Martha (assuming that's her) writes kind words on the box. I love that this is a Christian business and they pray over all the prayer requests. This is a hidden jewel! I ordered the Mediterranean salad and added bacon. The homemade balsamic vinaigrette dressing is amazing!! The portions were good for the price. I ordered the Summer Love salad-the chicken breast was seasoned to perfection, the blackberries, blueberries and strawberries were ripe and in season, the bleu cheese crumbles were delicious, and the pecan drizzled with some kind of deliciousness that was amazing.....Mmm mmm mmm! No other salad I had can compare to Martha's salads. It looked like all the ingredients were freshly picked from a garden. There were no wilted leaves, the berries were full and ripe. She gives you a good serving size too. You definitely get your monies worth in size and flavor. Salads By Martha is a beautiful establishment. Very homely, welcoming, full of love, and great energy. **CARRY OUT ONLY** I recently gave the owner of this establishment an Uber ride and told her I would drop by and check out her salads. They are super fresh and delicious! I got the Southern Charm which has spring mix, cherries tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese, candied pecans, green apples and chicken salad. I super enjoyed the salad and will definitely be back again! Every time I searched for food in my area, Salads by Martha would pop up. After months of scrolling by, I was in the mood for a good salad and refused to fight Atlanta traffic to visit my usual spot, so I finally decided to order. I have absolutely no regrets! This salad was so delicious, fresh and abundant. I got the Harvest salad, which included banana peppers, broccoli, cucumbers, olives, red peppers, red onion, and tomatoes. I added chicken and bacon and chose French for my dressing. This was one of the best salads I've had in a long time and I'm so glad Salads by Martha exists on this side of town! I live in the Ellenwood newly built area and I've always seen the Martha sign when passing by. Today I had a taste for a chicken salad to eat with my crackers, instead of going to Walmart or chikfila to get a scoop of chicken salad I decided to check yelp. The Bible verses and the neatly place food made me want to patronize. I called while driving into the parking lot and the male who answered the phone was so rude... This was not the impression I thought the place represented. He answered the phone and immediately put me on hold... At this time I'm parked in front of Martha's... He comes back to the phone saying "go ahead with your order". (at the same moment I see a male outside of Martha's multitasking and looking frustrated with another woman in a burgundy car) ... I proceeded to tell the male over the phone is like to order a scoop of chicken salad. There was a brief silence. Then he said ok... I say umm ok how long would it be(as most restaurants will let you know 5mins or so..) he snapped at me on the phone... I instantly put 2 and 2 together... The person with dreads frustration is the same person on the call taking my order. As he is taking my order I'm looking at him making faces and using hand gestures as if the caller (me) on the line was annoying him bc I asked a question. His only answer was pull up when you get here... Excuse me? I drove off because at that point I didn't feel comfortable... Side note for Martha:My job field is to find the aggressive person in situations without sound... The way we find that out is by looking at the person who shows the most hand gestures. If Martha goes back on her videos she will see why a person would drive off from someone being aggravated so easily... After all i ended up getting chikfila...There is a Bible verse for this too. Im dealing with the death of a friend and who knew that a simple salad place would feed my stomach and my soul!! The salad was phenomenAl....fresh, flavorful and very filling! The salad was ok but not worth the price. Martha herself was nice but that little girl that she has working the phone and the other one In the back are both Very Rude! It's a pandemic so we should be nicer to people. The one that took my order took forever to take down my card number down (with an attitude), and she was the one that was messing the numbers up. When I was about to ask her how long would it take she hung up in my face, no warning nothing just click! Never will I ever spend my hard earned coins in this place. Great service! I love the little notes they leave on the containers. The salad itself is beautifully put together. Taste, I have had way better. The pepperoncinis were dried out as if they were in a jar with none of the liquid. The ranch was definitely not homemade. Because the service was A1, I would probably try again however I think the salad could be recreated at home by anyone, with a better ranch, and still be a lot better. read more

The mix of fresh salad greens and strawberries, blackberries and blackberries with those CANDIED PECANS oh and chicken....is AMAZING! Each time I visit I venture out and try something different. The Southern Charm with the mixed berry vinaigrette (homemade) is another great choice. It has a wonderful chicken salad in the middle.
