Sadly, we lost our mother two years ago and our 96 year old step father recently passed away. We were needing to prepare our childhood home to be sold. We called Holly because our mom used to enjoy going to tag sales. Holly came to the house and was very nice and explained the process. She even told us that if individual family members had things they wanted to sell they could bring them and just put their initials on those items so her team could track them separately. The two team member who set up the sale were terrific(Bridgette and Brandon). They did a great job organizing and pricing things and they were both extremely kind. Unfortunately, when we reviewed the sales after the two day tag sale we discovered that the tracking and descriptions were vague. We understand it can be difficult, but we should not have been promised things that would not be done. My siblings (Anne Grayson and Tom St . Pierre and I) called Holly to share our feedback. THIS INTERACTION is the main reason for the bad review. HOLLY became angry and said she has been doing this for 40 years and never has complaints (see the other bad reviews to know that is not the case). She yelled and said she did not want to ever hear from us again. We were her customers. In all of my years in customer service I have never seen a business owner treat a customer this poorly. We were not calling to ask for a refund... we were simply sharing feedback that most business owners would welcome from paying customers. Bridgette and Brandon were the bright spots in the process, and we would hire them to run any future tag sales, but WE CANNOT RECOMMEND TAG SALES BY HOLLY. She makes false promises to get the contract signed, but does not follow through and doesn't care about her customers. read more

Very poor documentation of sales. The company doesn't even have a form to write down what was sold. We were encouraged to add items to the sale and told they would be documented separately. This did not happen and in many cases couldn't even guess what the item was because the descriptions were so bad (things like "cute lamp" when there were 25 lamps in the sale) or incomplete. Once the sale was over we got 0 customer service from Holly and she was extremely hostile and defensive. I cannot recommend this company. read more

As an estate sale shopper of over 20 years I can say wholeheartedly that this company over prices and they do not provide accurate descriptions of their sales. We have literally found items that are unpriced and had them price the items at exorbitant prices at check out. They also remove items from the sales and re arrange after pictures so you cannot locate them. We will not be back to any of their sales and if you are looking for someone to hire look elsewhere because you can find more professional people to assist you who don't alienate buyers. read more

I used them to liquidate the majority or my mothers life time of possessions. I was not pleasantly surprised to find a huge stack of boxes and packaging materials in the basement that needed to be hauled upstairs and to the trash. I think confining the items to fewer rooms would have made a better presentation. The sales generated less than expected. read more

Used them to sell my parents possessions after dad died and moved mom to assisted living. Left trash all over, house completely unorganized ( kitchen items spread all around the house, etc). Charge 35% of all sales. No advertising done which was supposed to be included per the contract. Do not recommend! Stay away from this business! read more

We hired Holly this past weekend to do a tag sale at a friends home who had moved into a retirement village. The place was an absolute mess although there were many treasures inside the house once you could find them. Sally's people did an excellent job of sorting through a lot of stuff, displaying it appropriately throughout the house and better than that they sold probably 90% of what was in the house. My friend made a lot of money and Holly got her 35% which was fine with us. I would highly recommend this company read more

Be very careful! This lady is at least dishonest and at most an outright liar. She arrived in our home weeks ago and assured us we would do well with her service. Furthermore, she assured us that our living in the property was "no problem"...she would just "tape off" the areas in use. A contract was completed and a date selected several weeks down the road at her suggestion for best timing. The advance team arrives to stage the event only to say...they were unable to continue with us in residence! What a sham! We could have been moving forward in our transition much earlier and at great savings in storage costs. Either this lady has no idea how her own company works or she is dishonest. Avoid Sale by Holly at all costs!!! read more
