I'll admit, a man, on a bike, serving up hot vegetarian burgers does sound like something you'd…read morefind at a Woodstock Festival. But do not let looks nor per-conceived ideas of "vegetarian" deceive you. I like Celeste, turn up my nose at the idea of anything with quinoa in it. Normally it means bland, cardboard tasting grit and not very appetising. However, this French, dread-locked, vegetarian must be putting "special mushrooms" or something in his burgers to make them taste so flavoursome, moorish and wholesome. Served up in a wholemeal roll with lettuce, avocado, chilli sauce and plenty of special salad mix this burger will fill you up from lunch to breakfast the next day and only for $10. Arguably, I took a bite of the haloumi and mushroom burger and had severe food envy with the extra kick the chutney gave to the burger - but that's not saying much considering mine was so good! You get a whole bunch of good karma from lunching with Veggie Velo, from the sustainability of it all to the lack of little baby pigs or lambs involved. But honestly, who cares? The food is so damn good I'd sacrifice something for a bite of Mr Velo's burgers.

Drag the non believers by the ear to this cart and order them their haloumi and mushroom signature burger, or like me, try something different like the lentil patty salad. Change their freakin lives. Was worth the ten dollar price tag, the takeaway came with caramelised onions and a fresh salad and was too tasty not to inhale all at once. I wish I could just throw all my money into getting these guys a permanent address as their mobile nature makes it hard to find them if you work weekends, the struggle is real! Dude just do it, you need this in your life. The chef is a crusader and a king amongst men.

I am saving this spot for a 5 star review when I have time. I honestly thought I had already…read morereviewed these guys. But read on for my hot 'takeaways'. These guys are fantastic, they care about their employees and their customers. Each order comes with a special note, which shows the care they give to their customers! All their food is fresh like it was picked from the garden that day! Each mouthful is delightful. Each meal is affordable. Even if you want to try five things these guys make it affordable. The menu changes with the seasons but continues to stay excellent and never falters with bringing the flavour and new excitement for our tastebuds. Allowing us to enjoy something new and being confident that it will fantastic no matter what. The menu is also very large so no matter what you feel like whether it's a healthy filling salad or some cheesy comfort food, these guys have you sorted! Every dish is great. They cater to all dietary needs without shaming you or ruining the meal because you need something gf (high quality alternatives are available which is so rare normally). Everything tastes so fresh and gives your saliva glands a marathon. My personal faves are the potato and dill balls, the chickpea omelette, the veggie frittatas and the 'chicken' and chips. Also highly recommend purchasing ALL THE SAUCES!!!!! Especially the green one and the aioli! The buffalo sauce is my friends favourite and if you like a bit of sweet chilli they have you covered. Thank you veggo sizzle for all the love and help and amazing food. This is the perfect place to order yourself some food for a picnic, a Netflix and chill date or grabbing a quick bite to eat in-house.

The food is of good quality and will fill you up. I particularly like the SFC and the mock duck. The only negative I have is that it can take a long time to receive your food, even when it's not busy. And they're training some new staff at the moment who don't quite know how to be waiters-we had no cutlery at our table and the waiter took cutlery from a vacant table and told us to set it up ourselves. I'd still recommend this place, regardless

Zenhouse prides itself on it's organic products and peaceful atmosphere, offering a healthy haven for busy workers and stressed students. Their magnificent range of tea from around the world is the perfect remedy for a hectic day and their tasty food with eastern and western influences is sure to hit the spot. I am a SFC fan! SFC is one of the dishes and is basically fake popcorn chicken, but so much tastier. You can get it with chips, salad and a dipping sauce or even in a gourmet burger. The satay sauce is the best pick to accompany this one. Even a meat eater will appreciate this one. There is also a mixture of tea inspired fruity mocktails. I suggest trying the Fruit Medley if you have a sweet tooth, it's bright pink and the fruity floral flavor is orgasmic. I guarantee you will want to come back and try everything on the menu. It's natural, healthy, and tasty - too good to be true.

Zenhouse Tea Corner - Yummy tea (green tea with line and coconut) but the Vietnamese rolls were not very flavorful. I wouldn't get them again.

However, this makes for limited space, especially during the hours of 12-1 when you would be extremely lucky to find a table. You can't book either so it is just a matter of crossing your fingers and waiting. But don't forget, you will not be disappointed! They have a whole range of different vegetarian burgers. I've tried them all and really can't choose the best, it would be like favouring one child! The Thai Burger is always amazing, but just remember no matter which one you chose it will absolutely mouth-watering. The sizes are also ridiculously large. You get the option of having a whole or a half-burger. A half-burger is definitely enough to fill one very hungry person! The prizes are also very cheap with a half-burger setting you back less than $10. And the burger masterpieces created from the brain of this place (the kitchen) come with names like "Ab Fab" or "The Mexican" - all time classic hits that have been topping the foodie charts for 25 years in Adelaide. The menu is written on the most inconvenient spot in the cafe, but who needs to read about ingredients when you can just fall in love with the name and the vibe of a song - sorry - burger, right? Nothing is made with meat and every burger has some version of lentil or chickpea involvement. As Tom W mentioned, only go with half unless you have been starving yourself for a week and don't feel shy to ask for extra avo or hummus included. Although no Banana Pancakes are made in store and they ONLY except CASH in hand, you will fall in love with the aura and energy of this cafe, its staff and the hearty burger party going on inside that will make anyone's heart sing with joy.

Upon entering it was immediately obvious this was a bit of a Wok-in-a-box meets junior Asian McDonalds. It's a small quick service boxed salads, soups and rolls outfit. The packaging is pretty and colourful but with me less is more, or rather I want good food and I don't care about what it's wrapped in. I picked up a couple of packs of cold rolls with a standard peanut sauce, smaller in size than some but well priced at $5 each, although you can get them bigger nearby for $4. I almost tried the soup bucket and kicked myself afterwards, although a change of mind may not have guaranteed satisfaction. Each roll had 3 small prawns, a bit of lettuce and a lot of noodles - that's it. No herbs, no other veggies, no flavour, nothing. They were bland and "noodly" and the rather average sauce did nothing to lift the experience. The other thing that bothered me was seeing the attendant preparing the days numerous "soup dishes" in the disposable latex gloves (tick) but then handling cash and notes to get my change and continuing her work in the same gloves (hmmm). I thought they were used for hygiene purposes but in their case perhaps for sensitive skin!!
