I happened upon Now Age Travel through Haus Witch (a must see store in Salem!)-- I booked the Up With Witches tour soon after. We met up with our group (ended up being 6 total). Melissa was amazing. We had thoughtful discussion throughout the entire afternoon, talked about the many different layers of visiting Salem. And the relevancy of the witch trials even today in 2019. I think this tour made the myriad of things to do in Salem manageable and enjoyable. It seems like it's easy to get lost in the tourism circus aspect of Witch City and it was great to be with a tour guide who respected the history and explained the reasons Salem is the way it is today. Definitely plan to return and do another tour with Now Age Travel. She made our experience very lovely.

Last weekend (11/10), a friend and I decided to attend the Witches:1692 walking tour in Salem, conducted by Melissa. Having always been interested in the Salem Witch Trials, we knew this was the tour to take. Rather than being inundated with static facts, Melissa took an analytical, rational and empathetic approach, when recounting the events, leading up to the Salem Witch Trials. It's quite easy to get roped into a large tour that feeds into the hype and witch hysteria, as it's been painted for tourism reasons. Unlike their fellow Salem Witch Tours, NowAge keeps their groups rather small/ intimate. You have the opportunity to pick Melissa's brain at every turn - and boy, was Melissa knowledgeable. The tour consisted of visiting 10 different landmarks, within Salem, with a briefing of its history and significance, as it pertained to the trials. What caught me by surprise, and made me even more appreciative of the experience, was Melissa's take on how said landmarks/ events have shaped the way Salem, and surrounding towns, have "moved forward." Whether it be creating this "Witch City" (Salem) or hiding/ burying it's past. I love a tour that's really going to make you "think" afterwards and draw your own conclusions. It was the first REALLY cold evening we had in a while and I have to call out Melissa's thoughtfulness, with regard to that. We were all freezing, but Melissa wanted to be sure she gave us enough attention and information, without making us feel rushed or frozen! I mean, she was cold too and just kept it flowing. Highly recommend, if you're looking for a tour that has insight and context when it comes to the Salem Witch Trials. I will be back for another tour - when it's warmer! Thank you, Melissa!!!!

It would be a disservice and unethical of me not share my experience and have the public be aware of how egregious and unprofessional Chloe's behaviour has been. After paying for my appointment, I had my appointment cancelled 3 times at the last minute. Every time it was cancelled, I responded with compassion and understanding to have it moved - despite it being cancelled literally a few minutes before it was meant to go on. By the third time, I was fed up with the sudden cancellations. I requested a refund and exclaimed how I was surprised by the reviews given this experience had been quite a headache for me. That was all I said. In response, I received an essay of a text message, full of vitriol and hate. I was patronised, I was labelled as discompassionate and talked down upon. Never have I EVER received such hatred from someone when I was merely expressing understandable frustration given I had been cancelled upon 3 times. When I came onto this platform to write a review about my experience - which I am entirely in my right to do - I was BULLIED into taking it down. I've attached the screenshots on my google review for proof. It seems the reason Chloe has such great reviews is because she bullies people who leave negative ones into taking them down. To do so is fraudulent and unethical and I am extremely disappointed with this behaviour. It's unfortunately tainted my perception of the whole Tarot community and I hope my experience won't this time be silenced as it was the last time.

She said that I had some energetic blockages and needed to get it cleared out. I waited a couple of months because it was a decent amount of money. But ultimately I decided to do it and she didn't remember reading me so she had to do another reading. Her second reading seemed a little contradictory to the first one but it's fine maybe my energy changed or she got a deeper look into what's happening. Whatever. She had me do different homework assignments, which I thought was great and am going to implement even after working with her. However, in the beginning when I would see/talk to her, she would say that she would want to see me the following week but wouldn't schedule it out the day that I saw her and she said she would message me for a day and time. But I had to follow up with her each time, which really rubbed me the wrong way because I paid her for the service already. After a couple of times of doing this, I realized that it wasn't working for me. So, I texted her telling her that working with her wasn't working with me because I didn't like that I had to follow up every time to see when I was going to see her and asked for a partial refund. She basically said that it's bad to stop spiritual work in the middle and that we should keep working with each other until it's finished. She reassured me that she would work on communicating with me more. I told her that I would prefer scheduling out the calls or meetings. And we scheduled the following one. And then after that meeting, she said that she wanted to meet some time the following week and we would figure out a day. I expected her to follow up with me, which she never did and I again had to follow up with her, so that was annoying. The next time we met I said again that I would prefer to schedule out these meetings/calls. She said that she could do that. At the end of that meeting, she had me sign an agreement saying that you can't get refunded and other legalese stuff, which I thought was weird because we had working for like a month at that point. In hindsight, I shouldn't have signed it. The following meeting it was a call. I texted her an hour prior to the call to see if we could make the call short. She didn't respond. Fine whatever I can ask her during the call. The time of the call comes. She doesn't call. An hour later she said to me yeah we can keep the call short but she forgot to put me in her schedule and asked me what time the call was supposed to be. I told her it already passed. We ended up having a call that day and agreed for a time for the next call. The time for the next call comes. She doesn't call. I texted her about 30 min after when that call was supposed to happen to ask her if we were gonna reschedule. She doesn't answer for 3 days. At that point, I felt like i was disrespected and was just done working with her, especially since I already communicated multiple times what my issue was. I thought scheduling out the meetings would have resolved my issues of having to follow up with her, which doesn't seem like it did. So, I sent her a message cutting it off and thanked her for all the stuff she's done. I don't doubt her abilities at all. And I do think that I benefitted from working with her. But I definitely don't recommend her because I was just frustrated throughout the process and towards the end felt really disrespected and I feel like I kind of just got cheated out of my money. Even though I did benefit working with her, I personally wouldn't work with her again and would not recommend her to my any of my friends and family or anyone I know personally after this experience. Called me sweetheart way too many times even when I said my name . It was supposed to be fun and different for us ( 3 friends from work ) as we hardly ever get together . I told her nothing bad or too heavy please . She asked if any one was sick or died and my dog who she commented how cute she was earlier was lying next to me and I told her she was diagnosed with cancer , I am not stupid and have a vet to advise me and right now she is good , happy , and clean of spread but I told her she wanted to look at her face which she wasn't to keen on since was was resting is old and doesn't know this lady at all .
