Josue immediately walked us through how hand tattoos are different than other areas, and how it would need to be refilled more often. It didn't feel at all like he was pushing us to get the tattoo done there, and really just wanted us to be as informed as possible. My husband decided to do it and the entire thing took about 40 minutes. The entire time Josue was incredible, and freaking free handed straight lines!! Great place. Friendly and cordial. They also speak English, which is very helpful for tourists looking to make a memory in Puerto Rico. Ozzy did my and my brother's tattoos. He made us feel comfortable and explained everything he was doing to ensure that the needles were clean and new and that we felt safe. I got a tattoo on my bicep, and it cost 150. My bro got a smaller tattoo on his wrist and also paid 150. I am happy with my price but he only got 4 letters. Ozzy called me personally about a week later to check on my tattoo and make sure it was healing ok. I am happy and recommend going here. So I did a little research and decided to pop in on a Monday for a Wednesday night appointment. My last night of vacation. The staff here is super friendly, speak perfect English and are very informative. I showed some inspiration photos to Che, my artist, and I let him run with it. I came back on Wednesday and waited quite some time for him to finish the drawing he also freestyled some parts. Once we got started, I knew I was in good hands. He was even nice enough to give me his sweater for my legs cause I was freezing and let me take a break. The spot I chose hurt like hell but was totally worth it. Che is the man!!!! The place was clean, bright, etc. My friend got her first tattoo here with Nicolas and it came out great. I wanted to buy a piece of jewelry for my earring that fell out. He cracked the door and said you need to have an appointment to buy jewelry, which I obviously did not know because I've never heard of a shop that only takes appointment for sales. Tattoo appointments, sure, but to buy earrings? Weird, but whatever. I told him the piercing was already closing and he did not care. He just shrugged his shoulders and gave me a business card and said to come back when I have an appointment. Looking at past reviews, that has cost them money before. I saw inside and a bunch of people were just standing around not working. Walked down the street to a luxury piercing and tattoo parlor and bought some beautiful solid gold earrings. Color Conspiracy Tattoo is my new favorite tattoo shop in Puerto Rico. The studio is very clean, and the ambiance is pleasant. The customer service was excellent. The lady taking the reservation was so extremely helpful. She even suggested that we bring a jacket or sweater so we can be prepared that it does get a bit chilly. Since I'm always freezing, it was such a thoughtful tip because it is so hot in Puerto Rico (outdoors and in) so it's not a common suggestion. My tattoo artist was Joshua Montes. He was sooo accommodating and helpful. He had a great sense of humor too. Talented, modest, and humble as well. His work was amazing. I did a matching tattoo with my sister (photo attached). He spoke to us in English, and even though he says he doesn't speak good English, it was near perfect! I found out later that the owner was on a season of the show Ink Master. Even though I didn't get a tattoo from him (since my style is different) he hires quality tattoo artists that book up quickly. Make an appointment and follow their instagrams! Im just speaking very honest here and probably half of the fault was mine. But I got my 4 tattoos in this shop, and I am very greatful. I made an appointment to get another tattoo, so I called to move my appointment to a later date, and the guy told me I couldnt do that because I could lose the money I already had given, because he said they had a policy to call withing the 48 hours to cancel or move appointments(I remember that I had to cancel one time and they gave me the money back). Then i said I can cancel and get my money back with no problem, he told me if I cancel, i will lose the money. I had no choice but to cancel, either way I was going to lose the money... I've done many piercings throughout my life and I've let them close because they don't heal properly or their placement isn't where I wanted them but when I got my helix re-pierced and I got my daith put on the other day by Frank the piercer! It was nothing like my previous piercings (I've had 10+ and I've let them all close) the experience was awesome! I've been wanting to get my piercings done here for a while until I jumped the bullet and finally did and thank baby piercing Jesus I did! It didn't hurt AT ALL!
