This place is pretty good as far as apartments go. Look, no matter WHERE you go, sometimes you just…read moreget unlucky and get a noisy inconsiderate neighbor. I've been pretty lucky as far as that goes. Note: I rent a 1 bedroom apt. First things first, the cons: 1. This is a business rental property, not privately owned. So if you are late, you have to break lease, ect. any kind of unfortunate circumstance that you had no control over, the employees in the main office have no control over the policies in place. Pleading your case does nothing. So make sure you go into this knowing that you better make your payments. There are no friendly exceptions. 2. The walls are PAPER THIN. My upstairs neighbor was simply having a conversation with a low monotone voice and I could hear it at 11pm. 3. Continuum of 2, it gets EXTREEEEMELY cold in winter. Winter of 2016 was BRUTAL. The only source of heat is 2 wall heaters and a baseboard heater in the bedroom. (friendly tip, don't use that baseboard heater, your wallet will thank me later). With the thin walls, it takes about 2-3 hours for those little wall heaters to warm up the entire apt. 4. Again, winters here SUCK. They do a decent job of snow blowing the walkways and salting. However, plowing of the driveways was not done nearly enough. Parking in winter becomes a nightmare because neighbors can be really inconsiderate and take up two parking spaces. (they blame it on snow covering the lines) If you don't get back to the apt in winter by 5pm, expect to park very far away from where your unit is. Pros: In unit washer/dryer In unit Microwave In unit Dishwasher Bedroom is of very nice size. Walk in closet. Kitchen is VERY nice. It has an island with the sink and dishwasher. Bathroom is HUGE for an apartment. Like... Huge. Hardwood in bathrooms and kitchen. Offwhite almost tan carpets, so its EXTREMELY easy to clean. The appliances have never failed on me in 2 and half years of living there. Water pressure is NEVER an issue. The fridge is the perfect size. (downside is it does kick on at weird times but you get used to it pretty quick) The AC unit works INSANELY well, and it has a timer you can set for when you want it to cut off when you are in bed. Overall: This place is pretty good. Not the best, definitely not the worst. I always felt I got more than what I paid for. If you get a raise from your job, you get grandfathered in. For example, I was fortunate enough to get a huge raise at work that put me 10k over the qualifying limit, but I already lived there, so rent became more than affordable. You just get put to max rent cost for your unit. For me that is $675. I only had my rent increased once in 2 1/2 years. That was from 672 to 675.

Copper Landing and the leasing management company have been a joke to deal with. We provided every…read moredocument they requested, including our pay stubs, and they already ran our credit. Despite having all the information they need, they still cannot provide an answer. If this is how they handle potential residents, I can only imagine the issues current residents face. I would not advise anyone to live here.
