We were in building 105 which had five bedrooms and four baths. We had about 14 people from several different families and this was a perfect setup for us. Very large common area with several tables and many chairs. Various sized bathrooms with a mix of tubs and walk-in showers. One room had a king size bed and the other four each had two double beds. It was right across from the pond and disc golf course which we liked. Just a short walk to the pool and Soda Steve's restaurant. The water was hot and showers had good pressure. A/C worked well. We liked the property's gift shop and little game room with the ping pong and foosball tables. Having said that, I'm not sure we would return in the future. As many have mentioned in the reviews the "resort" has not aged well. Our building was musty and outdated. Many things were bent or patched together. Some of the blinds did not shut, handles were loose, light bulbs needed replaced, light fixtures had a few bugs in them and the exterior was shabby and poorly managed. The cooking items in the kitchen were just a hodge podge of items. Many windows had film on them that obstructed the view. Three of the rooms had floor to ceiling wood paneling and were very outdated. You got the feeling the friendly staff cleaned as well as they could but were having a hard time keeping up with the older property. Building 105 is located right next to an abandoned looking private residence. For $1200 for two nights you really expect more. The skating rink was a concrete floor in a building that was not air- conditioned. The hot tub jets worked but the heater was broken. There was no internet or wi-fi. There was a TV but no cable and channels were very limited and this was pretty disappointing. We were disappointed as well that there were no queen beds but only double beds. The rooms certainly could have accommodated queen beds. We all agreed that the quality of the place was the level of a Motel 6 or less which is a shame since the property is really laid out well and has a lot of potential. Hopefully an investment in funds can someday bring this place back to what it used to be.

Wow! Middle of Gore, Oklahoma is a small 16 unit motel, clearly owned by a very proper Indian…read more(India) family. Online they have a great reputation, and I am proud to be the yelper that added them to yelp and 1st to review. This is a very well kept motel. It's one of the cleanest rooms I have ever stayed in. The sheets and comforter smell like tide essentials and everything is in its place and in good working condition. Unlike many hotels that keep relaxing their tubes this motel has a like new tube/shower, which is spic and span. The hotel uses at least costco grade towels and as mentioned its tidy as can be. The parking spaces I noticed were extra wide, we drove a box truck here. Many of us city slickers wouldn't pay much attention to the heater, especially since everywhere you go there is a heater. But with this January 2018 freeze we are experiencing it is only 3-11 degrees in Oklahoma and Tennesse. With that said last night it started showing so we stopped in Tennessee at a Rodeway Inn, Holly Molly was it cold, the heater tried to do its job, but must have retired in the 1980s. Thank goodness we had movers pads and we layered 3 on top of the comforter just to catch our teeth from rattling. Prior to having the wife step out of the truck I hurried to the room to turn on the heater, thank god, this is a trully well kept hotel motel. The heater is atleast from this century, and to my surprise the bathroom also has a heater, cranked them both on, and in minutes it was toasty and comfortable. If you read my review in its entirety I thank you, i hope you have as nice an experience as we are. Between that and places already booked up I was just driving around Tenkiller lake and stumbled upon these little gems. Got a one bed cabin and it's perfect. It has a large living room area/kitchen that has three large windows that look out on Tenkiller lake and the dam and a nice big table where you can sit and have coffee/ meals and watch the sunrise & sunset on the lake. There is a little bit of grown up trees that slightly block the view in the cabin I'm in but not bad. It has a fireplace, tv, stove, fridge, microwave and dishes and silverware. Outside has a fire pit & a charcoal grill. Then there a queen bed in a separate room. Small bathroom with shower only. Absolutely everything you need. Towels and linens supplied & there is also a couch that I believe folds out into a bed. So glad I found these. I looked everywhere online & never saw anything about these.

The price was also a little high considering the few amenities. We were also there during the tornado season and there weren't any shelters. Otherwise the sites were large, good parking, dog friendly, nice walking trail around a large pond, fishing and very friendly management.

Circle 5B RV park Vian, Oklahoma…read more This owner David is just the sweetest. We were looking for a place near Vian OK on our way from Florida to Ok to start our Route 66 trip. It was a last minute call and most likely past normal hours you would assume. He answered very friendly and not only told us he had a spot but which one to go to how to pull in the directions to get to his place and even met us there at the site if we needed anything. He takes cash but the site was only $40 for 30 or 50 amp plus full hook up and free wi fi. He gave us the password when we arrived and gave us some suggestions to do but ours was just a quick overnight to get back on the road in the morning. There is a nice lake you can stroll along or even fish if you have your gear. Sites are nicely maintained. Now I said they have free wi fi. A lot offer that but then it's either at a main building or not a good signal but this was an excellent signal! We had no issues. Plus it is at your site! No need to go anywhere. The picnic tables were nice and sturdy and not wearing down like some other parks. We have an antennae on our rv and we were able to pick up more channels then I have ever been able to at any rv park so far. So regular tv or streaming your options are endless. This was not only a great RV stop but well maintained great hook ups and wifi and he is just the nicest person. The kicker it was only $40 a night during the time we were there with all that included. Trust me you will not be disappointed. Please stop by his business on your next trip through Oklahoma. Very nice facility and it was kept up and clean. Sadly, they had closed by the time I had stopped but I did get to peek in the windows of the information center! Bathrooms were of course accessible and open. Plenty of RV and BIG RIG parking. There is a dump station (which I did use) with non-potable water. You MUST go into the RV parking area to access the dump station. If you decide to park in the BIG RIG parking area, you will not be able to access the dump station as you exit. I discovered this after I had parked. Being creative, I parked in the first BIG RIG spot and the following morning, I just backed out until I could access the RV and vehicle lane and then made my way to the dump station. Trash cans were emptied and the parking lot is well lit (although one set of lights as you drove in was not operational) but there was still plenty of light for safety. I tow a 40' rig and had no problem getting in or out of the dump station area. Also, this rest stop is easy on and off of the interstate. One of the nicer rest stops I've overnighted at.
