Inspected the room and found some issues: broken cover for the AC and some cracks along the tub, not perfect, but all worked as expected. Went ahead and started looking for any signs of bed bugs, and thank the Lord there was no bed bugs nor any signs of nesting. We did enjoy our stay. And we were glad to see changes done to upgrade the service compared to previous reviews.

Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience. As soon as I walked in, I had to kill two water bugs, and there were also two roaches on the wall. I understand this motel is located in a rural area, but that doesn't mean guests shouldn't be able to enjoy a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained room. With some updates and better pest control, this property could provide a much better experience.

I passed up several hotels due to unpleasantness and rude clerks while trying to book a room on the phone and so glad that I did. Upon checkout the following morning, the owner also had a great southern polite attitude as well; welcoming, genuine concern by asking about our stay and thanked us for staying. *I would definitely stay here again with or without my pets.
