I'm a true…read moreveteran of the beauty industry having worked as an account executive for several large beauty companies -several who in fact serviced Sephora on the East Coast, for over 27 years, that the service isn't what it used to be... in fact, I noticed how funny it was that as a now much older woman, who entered the store sans makeup to grab a few items before a vacation, that I was mostly ignored by the staff who was far too busy chatting and hanging about the wrap stand area to give me a passing glance. Many testers were missing, and some stock was noticeably sold out. I did really like some of the new products that have been added to the line up, and it's what I do expect from Sephora. A few old tried and true products were absent, but trends do change... I'd really recommend stopping into the store if you haven't been there for a while. It's got a great selection, is brighter than ever, and walking the aisles makes me smile. As a pro artist, who enters with zero on my face, you may find it amusing that I left the store with a full face that I happily applied myself, while wearing a new fragrance! Did they get the sale??? NOPE but I'm VIB ROUGE, I went home and purchased it online because no one could be bothered with me

They seem to be commission based as you are approached by every staff member as you walk by, and when you check out, you are asked who assisted you. While I appreciate the eager assistance, it seems like most of the time when it is really needed, many staff members are having personal conversations or connecting with friends who have come in to shop. The rewards program is nice, and there is a birthday bonus if you go in during your birthday month (though sometimes you have to remind the staff). While they are at the mercy of the building they lease, on more than one occasion, the air conditioner has been broken and they have fans placed in many different places. A good place to get items that are competitively priced, just a little overwhelming with the crowds and staff sometimes. I get uncomfortable turning down assistance every 2-3 minutes.

I've known many people through out my life that swear by how easy and wonderful wigs actually are. You can put a wig on and be ready to go anywhere. I mean goodness gracious just look at Dolly Parton and her wigs. My mother had many and she loved them and had them styled so many different ways. Ok enough about that. I saw this place today and decided to go check it out. I got inside and they had hats and dressy outfits and wigs that's what they sell and that's it. I was looking at all the wigs when I saw a sign that said if you wish to try any of the wigs on you. It's first purchase a cap to put over your hair so I told the lady I needed to buy one because I wanted to try a few on because I had absolutely no idea what kind I wanted or even if I would end up with one but I was very seriously wanting one. So I paid her for it then chose a couple wigs to try on and she wasn't friendly or helpful in any way and then when I tried on my 4 th wig she told me that's you limit ! You see sign it says 3 wigs is the limit ! Anyway hmmm I hadn't even almost decided which one I wanted but she just kept being rude so I guess she's only interested in making the $1 for the try on cap..... I left and will never return !!!!

I haven't let anyone cut my hair in about 10years due to multiple bad experiences (none at Ulta), but she made me feel so comfortable. Throughout the treatment she checked on my scalp, made sure I wasn't burning, asked if any areas were more sensitive. By the time I was done rinsing I was confident that she would understand that I only want a trim, and be willing to work with me to get rid of my dead ends over time. No one wants a cut when they just ask for a trim. And ladies did she deliver!! I can rake my fingers through my hair with ease, and let's just say the inch and a half she took will NOT be missed. She has followed Merle Norman from Bocage to Corporate to the Mall of Louisiana and now to their new location on Jefferson Hwy. The Sunday in question, it was one errand on my list to take care of - I ran to the mall remembering it was there- no dice. I called the number and the manager answered- I couldn't remember the cream so she did some detective work to figure out what I needed. Oh one more thing- they were going to close in 5 min. I was so sad- but she offered to stay open if I was coming straight there from the mall. I booked it to where I thought it was (GPS is trying to kill me) and finally found it tucked away in a strip mall. They were closed but the manager was inside and reviewed my mom's profile for purchases to make sure we weren't getting the wrong cream- one more time. I will support this business forever for that. It really made my mom's day and I greatly appreciated the manager's commitment to her longstanding customers.
