I was desperate for a beauty fix, it had been a while...enter Sephora my old friend. I'm a true veteran of the beauty industry having worked as an account executive for several large beauty companies -several who in fact serviced Sephora on the East Coast, for over 27 years, that the service isn't what it used to be... in fact, I noticed how funny it was that as a now much older woman, who entered the store sans makeup to grab a few items before a vacation, that I was mostly ignored by the staff who was far too busy chatting and hanging about the wrap stand area to give me a passing glance. Many testers were missing, and some stock was noticeably sold out. I did really like some of the new products that have been added to the line up, and it's what I do expect from Sephora. A few old tried and true products were absent, but trends do change... I'd really recommend stopping into the store if you haven't been there for a while. It's got a great selection, is brighter than ever, and walking the aisles makes me smile. Sephora is consistent for the product lines and selection, but they are frequently out of the popular shades in some lines. They seem to be commission based as you are approached by every staff member as you walk by, and when you check out, you are asked who assisted you. While I appreciate the eager assistance, it seems like most of the time when it is really needed, many staff members are having personal conversations or connecting with friends who have come in to shop. The rewards program is nice, and there is a birthday bonus if you go in during your birthday month (though sometimes you have to remind the staff). While they are at the mercy of the building they lease, on more than one occasion, the air conditioner has been broken and they have fans placed in many different places. A good place to get items that are competitively priced, just a little overwhelming with the crowds and staff sometimes. I get uncomfortable turning down assistance every 2-3 minutes. read more

Went to this Sephora and the guy who did my brows missed the mark. A twenty minute appt became 50min, although he did the wax part fine (he couldn't shape though) he tried filling my brows with too heavy color and it was too bold and dark. I usually use a soft brown and he used medium brown it was very bad. I had to wash them when I got home. read more

HO-LY COW. Older red-head over there FREAKED OUT when I observed that they don't carry as many men's fragrances in-store as they used to. Started flying around like a hurricane and making weird noises. Never seen anything like it. Had to get someone else to help me. The second was very helpful. As a gentleman who drops in occasionally, they don't seem to carry as many men's products such as Clinique For Men or anything similar in this location but I found a great scent for summer and the person who did help me made some great suggestions. read more

I love this sephora location. It's easy to walk into a makeup store and feel overwhelmed and intimidated or judged by the beautiful employees. The employees here have never made me feel like they know more about makeup than I do (it's quite common at other locations which is why I mention it at all). They treat you like a friend and help you get excited to try new products! They will give you samples of anything you want to try and are knowledgeable and can give great recommendations for your specific skin type. A few visits back, I had an issue with a product and the manager reached out to me and fixed the problem immediately. This was an expensive product and she was not obligated to do anything at all, but she did and that is so amazing and important to me! Make-up counters, perfume, accessories - ahhhh, every girl's dream all one store. Love at first whiff with your newly found scent or love at first sight with your new found favorite shade of make-up. This is always such a fun store to come into and just browse for something totally amazing. I dream about owning half of this store, so it's always a treat to go home with at least a small part of it. From all the times I have walked in there, the customer service has always been spot-on. As soon as I walked in, I was welcomed by someone and offered help with anything. Picking out fragrances is probably one of my most favorite parts about coming in there. Sephora is like a candy store except it's filled with makeup and skincare products. I absolutely love this place. I had booked a makeover for my sons graduation. It costs $50 or you can buy $50 in products and the makeover part is free. The makeup artists do a great job and they have all types of choices to use for whatever look you want. This was my first time getting the fake lashes but I loved them. I only paid for the lashes and now I can bring them back everytime I go and they will apply them for free with the makeover. read more

I'd give it a perfect score if it weren't for the fact the last two times I went in to the Bluebonnet location my merchandise (perfume) was forgotten in the back of the counter. I don't pretend shop when I go in and take two hours to pick the perfect perfume I expect my items to be out in my bag and I pay. The second time it happened I went back to pick up the 2 bottles of perfume and brought my bag in with my receipt and as I was checking out the girl at the register stuck her hand in my bag without consent. I have visited this store at least 5 times in the last month. (Do not judge me.) This location is pretty large and has an amazing selection. The ladies here are normally very attentive and helpful. The skin care department is pretty big and they have a counter to break down your skin care needs. There hasn't been a brand that Sephora stores carry that they didnt have. I am in love with Sephora. I don't buy my makeup anywhere else. There is such a great selection! It may be a little pricy for some, but it's worth it. The employees are super friendly. They will help you find what you need and if its too expensive, they will find something comparable for you. My favorite place to buy makeup! Staff is always friendly and very helpful! They always have unique makeup items and the newest products that other places don't have. I love the bonus items you get after rack up so many points. I also like the fact if you don't like a product you can return it even after you have opened it! This store is one of my favorite Sephora's. Within less than five minutes of walking in, I had three people ask my friends and I if we needed help. I said no because I wanted to look around first, but once I was ready, I asked Alexis for help. She was extremely helpful!! She helped color match me to a foundation with the right coverage and hydration I was looking for. I had to remove my make up first, and she was kind enough to get me make up remover and toss the cotton pads for me. Once I decided on a foundation shade, she offered to apply it all over for me since I'd taken all my make up previously. She also helped me get a good primer for skin issues I'm having and helped me find brushes that would provide blended coverage for my foundation. I was first greeted at the door, knew what I was looking for and sent to that area. I was helped immediately and mentioned maybe wanting concealer too. I was asked if I need assistance, asked a couple of questions, then got paired with an employee named Shelby. I was told several times that I had to buy other products (like setting powder) if I wanted anything to work. I explained what I was looking for (again) and was told I'd have to buy other things because that's just how it works. So I said no thank you and left. THEN I got to the register, purchased my item, told her I don't need a receipt and was quickly lectured about how I can't return or exchange anything without a receipt. I said I know. Was asked 2 more times for my email for the receipt. Yes, I know how retail works. I didn't plan on returning it. Thank you though. The best thing about Sephora is their return policy. You can purchase anything wear it and return it if you don't like it-- even without a receipt. That's good business! I just tried to exchange foundation that was purchased pre-Covid and they would not even allow a simple exchange. We're talking about a $30 product people. The cashier mentioned that they opened up in April, however the state was under a stay at home order until May 18th, so we were NOT supposed to be shopping in April!!!. In addition, I had been exposed to people with COVID between May- August so it was unsafe for me to go into public retail shops out of safety for others. I called the Manager over, who was absolutely no help whatsoever & completely rude. I've spent thousands and thousands of dollars at this store over the years and they couldn't make an exception for a $30 foundation EXCHANGE???? Their unwillingness to be flexible was shocking over such a silly amount. They have now lost a customer and I'll NEVER shop @ Sephora again - just because of what could have been simple. ALSO- HEADS UP! They stop you at front door (not to check your temperature but to see if you know what you're looking for & won't let you pass, so you just have to stay jammed up in a tiny 4x4 area. There were 6 people squeezed next to me and I tried to go around but was told to stay in the line. THEY ARE NOT FOLLOWING SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES REQUIRED BY LAW! Such a shame. Stopped in on a busy Saturday to help my mom pick out a new foundation. (I'm using "help" very lightly because my make up knowledge is negative, ha.) We were quickly assisted by Diamond who was VERY kind and personable & knew her stuff when it came to all things make up. She gave suggestions to us clueless two & was very patient with applying & switching samples as we sorted through items.
