I have always received great advice when I have asked questions at this store. There has only been one time I have gone and been the recipient of poor customer service. Sally's has courteous employees. The store is neatly arranged. Sales are displayed throughout the store. Employees are always willing to assist with any thing you may question; this IS a great quality for this store. The store manager should be very proud knowing the staff is capable of handling situations. They do not hover; just make sure you feel comfortable and confident. read more

Excellent selection of beauty products that do not require a cosmetic license. Seems like they have everything you may need for hair and nails. I was looking for makeup remover and the sales person recommended a new healthier option. Priced at $8, which seemed to be a bit high, but am pleasantly surprised and delighted. Had excellent service one time and had two employees ignore the next time. Common in most businesses today. read more

Walked in looking for wax, and they had a waxing kit on sale. They even gave me a discount for being a military wife. (*what?* i'm not married...) Oh well... thanks...? The customer service here is especially good - even compared to other Sally's which are always great. Katie seems to be there everytime I go and she is always friendly and in a good mood (or fakes it well) and her product knowledge is very impressive. She told me later that they have to take periodic tests to stay on top of their products. Well, it shows. I always leave feeling like I got what I exactly what I wanted for a great price. read more

I love Sally's but the people that work here suck. They have no situational awareness. They will let you stand by the counter with your item for 5 minutes before anyone even bats an eyelash your way. They won't speak unless spoken to, if they speak they are very minimal with their responses. This location is very unwelcoming and unprofessional. read more

I was ignored until I walked up to the counter and stood there. I wasn't even met with eye contact. Asked for help, got told to wait, and still never received help. She sure did have time to gossip though... the worker just looked miserable and fed up after only being open 30 minutes. read more

BUYERS BEWARE...if you purchase clippers from Sally's Beauty Supply in Fort Walton Beach the sale is a FINAL SALE...(there is a small sign at the register which states this)...perhaps the Sales Associate should inform people of this...I brought $80+ clippers that turned out to be straight garbage...I didn't want my money back, I just want clippers that actually work. However, when I went to exchange them, I was told I'd need to get in touch with the maker of the clippers...let's talk about poor customer service!!! SMH!! read more

Love this Sally's! They are super helpful and friendly! My friend tried to dye her hair black from a box and it turned out black with a BLUE tint- we are military and she needed it fixed ASAP!! My normal hairstylist told me to get One n Only dye remover- the guy that was there was super knowledgable, we told him what happened and what brand she used, and he told us that we shouldn't use that remover but to go to CVS and get a different brand! Other than that incident I always go there and they always are there to help me with whatever it is I'm looking for!! read more

It's been a while since I've colored my hair with anything but a boxed kit. To achieve the results I want I knew I'd have to get what I need from Sally's. The young lady that assisted me was so helpful when the color I saw on the website is discontinued in the store. She offered a suggestion that I thought was perfect. She also had other tips and suggestions I took her up on. She made this a very pleasant experience for me and I'll definitely be back! read more

Very small store. Went in looking for decorative hair clips/accessories. They only had a small spinning rack at the front with overpriced stuff on it. Not what I was looking for unfortunately. No rubberized clips for my e trembly thick hair. read more

My first experience was the Sally's in Crestview, I was pushed to buy something I didn't need. So here I am at the Sally's in FWB.. trying to return the items I didn't need. I checked the website for their hours before going to Sally's because I just off work and it was getting dark. I walk in at 650pm. The website clearly says 8pm is closing. I told the older lady on duty I needed to return a couple items if that was okay. She returns with a rude comments about how she's closing in 5 minutes and she doesn't have time for this, so she told another employee to take care of it. The employee who did my return was very impatient and clearly had other things to do before taking care of me. After the return was done and over with 5 minutes later, (entirely too long for a simple return in my opinion) She told me swipe my card to give me my money, and I asked the last 4 of my card so I knew which one. She huffed and puffed and growled that she didn't know. I asked for my receipt and I figured it out myself. Finally got my money back and I needed one quick thing in the back that only Sally's sells (otherwise I would have went elsewhere) and there's the older lady from the beginning telling me again that they close in 2 minutes and that I should hurry to grab what I needed and to leave. I told her that her website says that she closed at 8, and maybe it would be best to update it since there were more people coming in saying the same thing. She stormed off to the back. Anyway, all in all, the service at this Sally's is horrendous. The one in Crestview wasn't as bad, but shesh, these ladies were not pleasant to be around. read more

The store manager is extremely rude ,she yelled at me in front of all the customers and treat me likeI was a completely idiot and the funny thing when I went home as I was in a hurry at that moment and did all the my numbers they were the ones that they were wrong not me, she even took one of my free items that they offer from buy one and get one free and put it away , which I don't care about that but this item shouldn't being taking it away as is part of her specials they offered. I am sooo filing a complaint about this lady; I usually don't complaint but I worked with customers too and the way I was treated it's totally unacceptable.If it was another Sally's store near me I will NEVER come back to this location as long as they have the same store manager . read more

Worst customer service ever. I have been here twice and both times I have left extremely disappointed and just mad. The first time I went in for a bleach kit to strip my hair and the guy who works there just told me "just pick one, they're all the same." He did not leave the counter or even help me find one. I ended up just looking up info about their products online while in the store since nobody would help me. I got up to the counter and a woman then asked me if I had all of the supplies to use this particular kit, and I said I thought I did. She walked away, grappled a bunch of stuff and charged me for all of it. I told her I didn't need them, but she insisted that I did, so I bought them. When ingot home and opened the kit, everything she had charged me for was in the kit already. I went here again today and made sure that they would be open by checking the hours online. They said they were open til 8 and I got there at 6:45. I walked in and that same rude guy walked up to me and blocked me with his body and said "um, ma'am we are closed." I said your website says you're open until 8 and he replied with "Nope. We are closed." I just stared at him and he said " I guess you can come in since you're already in the door." I turned around and walked out. I will NEVER be going back to this location, or even their store. read more
