I stopped in yesterday around 5pm and had a really concerning experience with an employee named Raven. She smelled strongly of alcohol and was extremely rude to my daughter. This isn't the first time either--I previously called to report a similar issue weeks ago after she also gave my other daughter hair advice that could have seriously damaged her scalp. I asked to speak with a manager, but nothing seems to have been addressed. Based on these repeated experiences, I'd recommend avoiding Raven if you're looking for help. read more

I was referred to Sally's by my Manicurist. I was looking for a particular clear nail polish that I had never heard of before. Protects and hardens nails. I was warmly greeted when I came in and asked if she could help me find something. The other two women in the store had never heard of this product. The woman who greeted me when I came in said she knew exactly what it was and found it for me. I would not have found it without her help. As I was purchasing the product, we had a very nice conversation. She was so pleasant. I would definitely go back to this business just to interact with this nice woman again. Sally's used to be a very reputable brand. It's gone down hill so much. I just went in to return a hair dryer which was unopened and unused that I purchased two days ago because I found a better priced one somewhere else. On the website and back of the receipt it clearly states you have 60 days to return no hassle. Well I went in and they told me that due to the holidays they don't do returns until February 1st. Well that's not stated ANYWHERE not even in store. The girl's attitude about it made it even worse. I can honestly see now why so many locations have gone out of business. After I make this return Sally's will be black listed for my money and time. read more

Sally's Beauty Supply is definitely a go to for hair supply products! They have a really great selection, one of the first major retailers I've seen that carries Arctic Fox hair dye which is amazing! The staff here is a hit or miss, some are extremely helpful and some don't really have a clue as to what theyre doing. The store is usually pretty organized and well stocked and the prices really aren't that bad! It's very cramped inside but there's not much they can do about that. Overall a good shop! read more

Been to this location a few times for hair coloring supplies. I went in looking for something specific this time. They always seem to have new people working. Which is never a good sign that they have that much turn around. This lady was super rude and short. They didn't carry what I needed and she gave me a huge attitude about it. I am sure she was just having a bad day and I get that. I wasn't rude to her but sometimes you really have to check your attitude. I won't be back to this location. read more

The best Sally's Beauty Supply staff I have ever met by far! I have been doing my own hair for years so I'm not a newbie to Sally's, I recently have gone back to blond, which is a long process. Every time I come into this Sally's every few weeks to touch up my hair/ maintenance the girls that work here know me now and welcome me like they're seeing an old friend. These girls have helped me pick out amazing products that have helped my hair so much and my first time visiting this specific store one of them helped me sign up for the Sally's card, since then I've gotten so many good deals and discounts I couldn't be happier. I had to leave this review because hopefully the staff or management will read this and know that I greatly appreciate the girls that work here. read more

If your looking for a professional opinion concerning purchasing hair care products I highly recommend consulting with Chelsea. Not only is she knowledgable on the products she's a Hairstylist who really cares about meeting the needs of her customers. I had a blow dryer break and she immediately went out of her way to compensate my purchase. Not only did she go out of her way to compensate me she went through multiple boxes in the back room to find the exact product I was looking for. Ask for Chelsea you won't be disappointed. read more

The girl working had no clue. I needed advice and all she did was direct me to their generic product because a lot of people seem to buy it. I asked how it compared to biolage since that's something ive used before and she said she didn't know. But that I could return the product if I didn't like it. I hate when you want a real recommendation and all you get Is a salesperson pushing you towards the stores brand. Sally's definitely needs to make sure their staff is trained on Beauty products. I walked out with nothing because I had that feeling like I was just being pushed to make the store money, not actually getting help for what I needed. read more

Its the closest beauty supply store to me, so i always go there. Some of the girls know what they are talking about, others have no clue. I think a little training exercise on beauty products would help the staff. Other than that, no complaints. read more

Probably wouldn't ask for hair color advice here as I don't think they are licensed or really experienced in that dept. Know what you want and go from there. (Their Wella products and the Loreal brand of Hi-Lift are really great for dark hair btw. ) They have good deals on nail polish (buy 2 get one free) but I have yet to find a generic hair product I love or can replace the real thing with. Last time I went to restock a few things the young lady working was very helpful and recommended a great callus remover that her mom uses. She also gave me a $5.00 off coupon that I forgot to bring. Nothing can ruin your image more than bad hair! Sally's saved mine with their bulk Argon Oil Hair Treatment Conditioner. The sun, the stove and restaurant heaters and hot baths, no doubt, hurt the hair and dry it up. This stuff is the best. Also, I get a light brown, soft eyeliner there and my massage cream (cheap). Was in Sally's yesterday. The young lady helping me was very helpful. The only issue is that I bought a product that was buy one get one 1/2 off and the discount wasn't on my receipt. Some of the worst customer service I've ever encountered! An employee asked me if i needed any help as she breezed past me headed to the back part of the store where other employees or friends (or both) were gathered. I said I was looking for shampoo for curly hair and she pointed toward some product and said the name which I was unfamiliar with as she continued along her way. I stood in front of the general area she had pointed to, trying to figure out which product it was, as she prattled on with her cohorts. Wow! I'm never going back there again! read more
