They have everything you'd really need for a nonprofessional. I just go for nice beauty applicators and hair product. The staff has never been friendly to me. Even the main manager. There was a very misleading sign that said "free with purchase" on a China glaze polish. Any girl would pick that up. After I picked my conditioner I got my polish and walked up. Scanned both the items and the polish was definitely not free. It was 16.00 for a .33 oz bottle! I asked what the sign was then and said I didn't want it. She (the main manager) was pretty rude. "Why would that be free?" Uhm because of your sign that says free with purchase? Lol. read more

If you enjoy being followed around the store by the employees and starred at while you shop like your going to stick there merchandise down your pants when they turn away. That is so rude. Do they actually train there employees to treat people like that. I just went in to get hair color, not be insulted and treated rudely. I honestly didn't think it was possible to even give a Sally Beauty Supply 4 stars and yet here I am with the glowing review to match! I went in with lower than low expectations. If you check my reviews you will see that over the years I've had multiple bad experiences with Sally Beauty Supply stores. It was always the customer service or management that sucked. Here? Not even a problem. I walked in yesterday afternoon and was astonished by how immaculate and clean the layout of the store was. Normally Sally Beauty tries to make a small space fit two shelves down the middle, this store opted for one. Which means its disability friendly. The majority of the products were labelled correctly (sans the nail polish, it must be a Sally Beauty thing) and after the employee was done ringing up customers she walked down the aisle and asked if I needed help with anything. I didn't, but she let me know she was there if I had any questions. You're probably thinking, "That's basic customer service. Why are you giving it 4 stars?" No, you really don't understand. That kind of friendly attentiveness which the employee then showed other customers in the store is unheard of in Sally Beauty land. Her professionalism and wealth of knowledge on beauty products is not something any ol' Sally Beauty employee has. This lead me to conclude that this store has excellent management as they have chosen an amazing employee that is the sole reason for this 4-star review. Would I come back? Definitely. I come in here often to buy hair dye, leave in conditioner, gloves, etc. to do mine and my friends hair. I don't do hair professionally but I've been doing my own hair since I was 16 or so. They usually always have what I need and I am in and out in a short period of time cause I know what I'm looking for. I sure hope I'm spelling her name right, but Mandy is very helpful! She's got long blue hair and she's my favorite person there. I always hope she's there to confirm my choices on bleach if I'm doing something drastic with my hair or my friends hair. She's the best!! I did have a weird experience there recently.. I felt like I was being watched as if I was going to steal something... like hello??? Do you know how much money I spend here monthly?? I'm not someone you need to be worried about. #byegirl that was a little frustrating so when those two individuals are in the store, I get in and get out even quicker cause they make my experience not so welcome. But other than that, Mandy is the best and I'm glad she's working there to expand my knowledge of hair products even further! She def knows her stuff! read more

I've been to a few different Sally's before, but sales girl was really helpful and polite. She answered all my questions and even recommended some products I could use. Went in here today and the lady that "helped" my mom was pretty rude. My mom brought in a lip stick she thought she had purchased from Sally's a while ago, wanting to buy the same lip stick and when she showed the sales woman the lipstick, she rudely said "No, that's not ours." When my mom then asked if they carried a lipstick that wasn't glossy, the woman pointed out a glossy lip gloss and then just stood there in front of the makeup briefly and then walked away without saying anything to either of us. To say the least, I didn't care for this woman's attitude. Some advice - if you don't like helping customers, then don't work in a beauty supply store. read more

Wow I had a horrible experience here. The manager is extremely rude... I ordered a synthetic hair ponytail extension online and I didn't need it anymore so I was going to try to return it in the store. I did not even open the package, I have no idea what the hair even looks like. It is still boxed up with the "Sally's" packaging tape and shipping label on the box. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it and I have not seen or touched it. So I figured I could return it and get my money back. I took it into Sally's and it smelled like really bad Mexican food and there was a lady at the front counter who looked at me and went to the back (no hello or "welcome to Sally's"). I stood at the front for about 30 seconds waiting for someone to come up, instead a girl yelled from the back "need help with something?" And I told her I needed to return something. This girl said she didn't know how to return online orders and that she'd get her manager. The manager came up and I told her what was in the box and that I didn't need it anymore. She looked at the box and kept looking at her computer and then said "yeah, you can't return this we have a policy that you can't return hair" and I said "it's not even real human hair and as you can see I haven't even opened the package or touched it?" And she very rudely interrupted me and said "I don't know what to tell you, you can't return it." And I replied "okay well I don't really know what I'm supposed to do with this now, I purposely didn't open it because they wouldn't let me cancel my order online." And she just said "sorry we can't help you." I'm absolutely appalled by the way I was treated at this store. I don't have an issue with their policy of not returning hair, I have an issue with the way I was treated. The fact that a MANAGER was talking to a customer that was is disgusting. read more
