Went in looking for a particular brand of shampoo for thin hair. They didn't have it but they did have their own recommendation for it and there was a sale: 4 for $20 mix and match. i bought some acetone wipes that were dry and came right back in minutes with receipt to the store to get a refund. The nice cashier asked me for my phone and name for the refund but i didn't want to give my personal info just for a $7 dollar refund. I had the receipt, original card, and ID. she asked her manager if i could still do it and manager said no. I left upset and came back to speak to the manager directly. manager said she would call corporate to see what can be done. corporate wasn't picking up so manager authorized the cashier to issue refund. i read the back of the receipt and the return policy online and no where does it mention i need to give my personal phone number for a refund. they must be on a quota to collect peoples info each day otherwise it makes no sense. the target next door has more selection and cheaper prices read more

The store itself is tiny but filled with many quality products. I came in looking for facewash and hair clips. The beauty associate took the time to look through the coupon book for deals with me. Granted, it wasn't that big of a coupon book but still, the fact that she was very interested in helping me was enough to warrant five stars. Of course I forgot to buy my hair clips, but I did walk out with some of their skin care. Surprisingly good stuff for a good price =) read more

it's like every other sally's. They have most everything you need. I've been to some bigger Sally's but these place has everything that Target next door is missing! The only puzzling thing is that they charge $5 for you to get a frequent customer store card (not a credit card). BUT if you're in the military (or at least say that you are), they take the $5 charge off. read more

They don't engage with you and they don't want to help you finding products that are not in the shelf. I don't go into Sally's very often. I would stop in more frequently, but the service is only so/so. I don't have a clue as to why. They either seem grumpy, disinterested, or superior. I don't know if they are unaware that they should be friendly; or, if they are not being properly trained, and therefore don't engage with you, because they don't know what they are doing; or, if they really think they are better than their customers. My husband went in with our teenage daughters, so they could use their gift cards we bought them for Christmas. They tried to pool their resources, and the transaction wouldn't go through. So, they split things up. One card worked, the other wouldn't. My husband had to pay for what we had all ready bought, basically. You can't use two cards on the same purchase. The cashier wouldn't listen to them, or check the card that didn't seem to work, to see if the balance got wiped out. Another lady, behind my daughters was trying to use two gift cards, and couldn't either. She was not happy. Employees were not sympathetic. Frustrating. If we can figure out the wonky card, and use it online, we probably won't be back. read more
