I came to Sally's for some clarifying shampoo and daily shampoo. The lady who was working was very pleasant and had a little knowledge about the shampoo. The store was quiet, clean and organized. Just the way I like them. They were out of the one I have been using so I had to buy a different one to try. The best part was the large bottles were BOGO 50% off. Plus I had a $5 birthday coupon. I have always had wonderful service at the 3 locations I frequent; however, NOT TODAY! The sales lady was very rude and NON-ACCOMODATING! All I was wanting to do was exchange 3 cans of hair spray that would not spray for 3 cans that would spray. I just purchased them 2 days ago! She said because I purchased them with a coupon, I had to pay the difference of almost $13.00. I asked her if she heard what she was telling me and she said "those were the rules". WHAT?!? Let me see...Sally's sells me a defective can of hair spray on one day and then two days later will not exchange it for a can that sprays unless I pay more for it? This does not make any sense! When I asked for a manager, she said she was on vacation and would tell me the same thing. I asked for her number and all it does is ring...no voicemail. Charging for a bag to put my $100 purchases in??? Seriously? I was told "Sally's is going green!" More likely that "Sally's is going CHEAP!" I've never had good luck with anyone being knowledgable in any of the 5 stores I visit regularly -- in fact their "knowledge was responsible for me ruining my hair just 2 weeks before my son's wedding, but that's a story for another time. Suffice it to say, I do not go in for anything that requires their "knowledge". Okay so the worker that was helping me get the stuff I needed (bleach and color) didn't even tell me to get developer for my products. They literally only told me to get the powder bleach and the hair color. Maybe it's my fault but I'm not a hair stylist so I wasn't aware I needed it. I have been to many Sally stores in the area, but this store location is is quickly becoming my favorite. I stopped in yesterday afternoon (03/03/2019) looking for a product to help my daughter's hair. The associate working was amazing and well knowledged she introduced herself as Cerene. She was very busy as she was the only one working when I stopped in. She took the time to discuss the issues I was having with my daughter's hair which is extremely curly and frizzy. I bought the products she recommended . She told me about the love it or return it policy. My daughter used two of the products last night. I can already see the difference after just one use. I want to give the associate a big shout out and thank you. I love the fact that she actually cares about her customers needs. I continued to look around the store and observed her interaction with the other customers in the store and seen that she gave them the caring and wonderful service she gave me.
