The girl that helped us is so patient while we look at everything!! We came in for the dubai chocolate, but we love baklava. They have so many varieties of baked goods. So we finally decide to get 1 mango cake thing, but it didn't have a cake. It's mousse? It's good but I feel like it would be better with a sponge cake or something. It looks so cute though. The dubai chocolate is so good!! My daughter love it!! The pastries is also soooooo good! We will definitely be back to try more things. What we tried was good!! The pastries is definitely a hit for me.

I'm pretty sure I've eaten their sweets - I just don't remember the old shop's name. Habibi Sweets, on the other hand, with their assortment of baklavas and Turkish Delights gave me a teasing taste of one of their more popular confections. My order included two rolled green-colored baklavas, One Almond dough pastry brimming with nuts and seeds, a coconut.TD, and for the pièce de résistance, this dark red Rose Petal Turkish Delight that was to die for! I remember my foray into chewy Turkish delights 25 years ago and this one was beyond delightful! Plus, it's non-GMO and Gluten-free! And there's more! The friendly staff, namely Zina gave me a small free box of even more assortment of baklavas to try which will surely be shared with my family.

Memorial Day 2026 commenced with the most amazing dessert I'd never imagine ordering. Before the…read moredessert, the gentleman that rang me up, and the lady packing the desserts (apologies for not getting names) provided exceptional service. My name was spelled properly, a short conversation reassured my dessert choice, and as I walked up to retrieve my dessert, the lady met me halfway with a smile (thank you for wrapping so it didn't fall over). The smallest of gestures and niceties are what make leaving the house worth it. GIANDUIA. This cake is nothing you can be prepared for, yet everything you need without setting expectations. The boysenberry was the perfect separation for the waves of chocolate and the subtle crunch of the hazelnut toffee type of layer on the very top. The chocolate mousse was the exact mouth feel needed to separate the rich layers of chocolate cake. I saw, I conquered, and I was yet again impressed by what Extraordinary Desserts so purposefully and gracefully offered. Thank you for healing a bit of my soul I didn't realize was waiting to be healed.

Also just so everyone is aware they're also liars just to mention & stupid.. she tells us her name is Karen thinking we don't know the owners name lol .. She was at the register at 7:20pm and was extremely rude and dismissive after we placed our order, especially regarding a child's dietary restrictions and health concerns. We politely asked if it would be possible to purchase a small cup of fruit , even just a couple strawberries cut up, because one child in our group cannot have sweets due to very strict dietary restrictions . Instead of simply saying they were unable to accommodate the request or offering another option, we were told to "go somewhere else," despite already spending the amount we did . The complete lack of professionalism and basic customer service was honestly shocking. It's disappointing to be treated that way at a place we have supported so consistently. This place has been going downhill , management for this place needs to step up .

In fact, it is highly encouraged that you do! That alone made the wait worth it for me, because it was like a mini ice-cream flight! The workers were EXTREMELY KIND and patient, even though I can't imagine the stress they must go through working at a place that is constantly crowded and demanding. The store is quite small, and there are 2-3 tables outside, but it's very crowded and busy, so we just went back to our car. The parking was also quite hard to navigate, so we had one person look for parking while the others waited in line. I would definitely go here again to try their new monthly flavors!

My friends and I came here on a Thursday night with no major expectations, besides knowing this spot is popular for satisfying a sweet treat craving in the San Diego area. We immediately had a great first impression when one of the workers came out with samples for us to try while we waited in line. Later on, we realized it was just a preview of the sampling experience we were about to have. The worker was so funny, and our group was so amused that it genuinely hyped us up while we waited. Even though the line was about an hour, it honestly did not feel that bad. The shop itself is small, and just as a heads up, parking can be hard to find. This is more of a grab-and-go spot, and there is no seating. We debated which flavors to get since they all sounded so interesting. We were surprised that instead of asking what we wanted to sample, they literally gave us a little bit of everything. It was such a fun experience, and we were so stoked. In the end, I got the Top Hat and matcha/black sesame. Being able to try everything helped me decide which flavors fit what I was craving, and they were perfect. The gelato was smooth, creamy, and not too sweet. I loved the unique flavor combinations they had. Overall, if you are ever in the SD area, you need to check this place out at least once.
