My husband has been a client at Salon 119 for about 6 months now and he could not be happier with Stacey. She does a great job maintaining his beard and her hair services are wonderful. Nicole has been doing my eyebrows ever since my husband started going to the salon and she knocks it out of the park every time. I recently decided to switch salons and start going to Salon 119 for my hair needs as well. I booked an appointment with Bridget because she is their top color correction and blonding stylist and I LOVE my outcome. I have hated my hair for the past year. No one could ever seem to get the color right. Bridget listened to me and used her knowledge to provide me exactly what I wanted. She took her time and did it right. She made sure to take care of the hair so it would not get damaged in the process of lightening me back up. She is amazing!!! Good customer service- they were able to get me in the same day at a time that worked with my schedule. Even though there were other people being helped at the counter I was greeted as soon as I walked in and helped promptly. Appointment started on time. The haircut was exactly what I asked for. The products used to dry and style were high end and nice products. The salon itself is beautiful and was festively decorated. They have one wall of hair products for sale and another wall for miscellaneous jewelry, cups, gifts. All in all I'm happy I went here and will be back. read more

I have been visiting this salon for years and I will only trust Natalie with my hair. I tried to call Salon 119 to book with her and the girl who answered told me that she stopped doing hair. Obviously this was a shock to me so I reached out to her and she informed me that she has never stopped doing hair and just decided to move to a new salon. For Salon 119 to lie about a stylist that was there for YEARS as some kind of way to hurt her personal business is so unprofessional. I will never recommend this salon again, this is absolutely ridiculous. read more

I made an appointment for a shampoo, just a shampoo. I had surgery and can't get in the shower to wash my long hair. The shampoo was fine. But, I was charged for the full blowout -$40. All I got was a shampoo, didn't even get leave in conditioner. Definitely not a shampoo worth $40!! Wouldn't ever go back. read more

Horrible. Do not get a haircut here unless you're booking with Regina or Delani. The range of ability between employees is so vast; Stacey cut my hair so badly I had to go back to my previous hairdresser the next day to get it fixed. She had to change my style completely and try to save my hair. I won't have my hair looking like it previously did for half a year at minimum. Asked for a small trim and got all of my hair cut off and sides are completely uneven. I asked to keep the flow in my hair and just shorten it a bit and got almost all my hair taken off. The back of my hair was cut very poorly and doesn't mix with all of my hair at all. The left side of my hair is completely uneven to my right side of my hair. I called for a last-minute hi-lite/cut on Friday and they got me in Saturday! The salon has a cozy ambiance and my stylist Bianca was wonderful! She spent time listening to my ideas and asked really good questions so I knew she understood the overall look I wanted to achieve. Extremely unprofessional. Booked in advance. The day of the appointment, they cancelled less than 90min before my scheduled appointment. I booked with them because I was having headshot photos taken later that day. Now it will be neat impossible to even get my hair done in time and they literally didn't care at all. I would give zero stars if I could. I don't know WHO in their right mind thought hiring the person who did my sisters and I hair. I made the appointment last minute and now I know why she was available lol. she violently, and I mean VIOLENTLY washed my hair to the point i almost left before she even started cutting. I should have because she cut inches shorter than I told her to, and instead of doing a trim, she cut a whole arms length (not literally). I really wanted to like this salon. Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience. Meleah cut my hair, and the very first thing I told her was that I did not want face framing layers. She was hyper and careless, and before you know it I had face framing layers on one side of my head. I now have a very dated looking hair cut with a shelf layer on one side. I am going to have to go to another salon to have it fixed. No one wants that kind of headache. read more
