Salon Adagio is a nice salon for hair care but their spa area is not adequate. Which is the point of my review. I had a nice facial with Stevie yesterday . I enjoyed it and the salon's prices are very reasonable. However my time was hardly relaxing thanks to the way the salon is set up. The room where the esthetician works is just around the corner from the front reception desk. All the conversations from the desk were easy to hear. In addition the bathroom is right next door and you can hear the toilet flushing. The spa waiting room has 2 seats and is open to the salon. Yesterday there was a man who sat there the whole time talking on his cell phone. He was taking up a space that someone getting spa services could use, plus he was loud enough to hear during the facial. This set up is poor, and there are no seats by the receptionist in the salon, so anyone coming in waits in the small spa area. The salon could greatly improve by making a few modifications to their setup. For me, one of the perks of a spa treatment is relaxing afterwards. There was certainly none of that at Salon Adagio. Too bad, but I doubt if I'll come back. read more

Went to Salon Adagio for a haircut, my hair was long so I wanted to shorten and get a good haircut. I asked the stylist to cut it just below the shoulder and to apply some layers in the back, I even showed her a picture, how I want the layers to look like. She did the opposite of what I asked for She cut it way short with bad layers l, the 2 sides were not even the same length, we had to get a more senior stylist involved. She tried correctly the haircut as much as she could. Completely bad experience. Now I have to wear my hair in a pony tail till it grows back. Not a happy customer. read more

It's the worst lash experience ever. There is so much glue on my lash line. My appt was 11 and he didn't start till close to 11.15am. Mid way his fan died and had to excuse himself to get a new one. My appt was for a fill and was never told that it could take 2 - 2hrs 15min to get a fill done until an hr and half in. I told him my eyes was burning and told him to hurry and be done as my eye are starting to tear uncontrollably after I am past an hour. He took another half hour to finish it up. There is so much glue on my lashline he had so much trouble getting it off the under eye pad and had to snip it so close to my eye.After I'm done my eyes were blood red. Worst experience ever. I asked how long he had done this he said 2 years. The service is comparable to someone still learning in beauty school. It's way over charge. Worst $120 spent. read more

I've been going to Salon Adagio for the past 5 years! Jean does an amazing job with my manicure and pedicures! She is the sweetest and gentle on my nurse feet! Haha! The front desk gals are always super kind offering you something to drink or giving you time to wash your hands before your appointment! They have great gifts for sale as well as products for purchase. Jean is fantastic with my son who just won't hardly hold still for a haircut! I love the way she actually listens to what you are asking for with your haircut and style! This salon offers level 1 through 5 stylists; meaning 1 is the cheapest (least experienced) and 5 is the most expensive (most experienced). I have been here 3 different times and have seen 1 through 3 level stylists and unfortunately I will not be returning. I really wanted to find a decent hair salon close to home, but every time I go here, I have to finish my haircut at home because the stylists cut my hair uneven. I'm super disappointed in this place. My last time here was a week ago. My haircut was uneven once again, so I called to tell them about it. They said to come back in and when I did, I saw a different stylist and she basically tried to convince me my hair was fine and wasn't uneven; even though my husband and several of my friends agreed with me that my hair was uneven. Bottom line, for the money this salon expects for hair cuts, not worth it. Keep looking! UPDATE : The business owner is saying in the comment section that I had breakage in my hair from my ponytail holder; this is hilarious. No, I do not have breakage in my hair; and if this was the case, why didn't any of the 3 stylists say anything about it? This still doesn't explain the uneven haircuts no matter how many excuses you try to dish out. Ridiculous. Your staff obviously needs to work on better communication to the customers. read more

Great people beds clean decent priced. I normally get 5 sessions package due to work. Don't wanna risk monthly prices. Also early birds daily special and daily regular prices. Don't need membership like most places around the area offer. I recommend anyone and everyone who like tanning. Haven't tried the hair salon or massage which is in same building, only down side is they have two regular lay down beds besides and high end bed and two stand up beds. Wish they had more beds and variety of levels. But that is small con vs all the pros. I haven't tried the big special bed yet but plan on it. Other two lay down beds are nice clean and two stand up beds are ok, small space but manageable. read more

If you are in need of a massage and/or need hair ripped from your body- go see Kay! She's so gentle you may not be able to tell which service you're having done! Seriously though, Kay is so wonderful. She's very good at making you feel comfortable in what can be a compromising and delicate situation, her professionalism goes on for days. On top of that, she's also very good at what she does! Whatever magic powder she uses makes waxing hurt less than your average paper cut. And youll always come out looking and feeling fabulous! She has worked with me to get my brows to grow back (with great success I might add), as well as the monumental task of the rarely-discussed bikini wax. If you've never had one, or had a bad experience in the past, she will erase all of those bad memories and fears and leave you ready for a Victoria's Secret runway walk! If you're not convinced yet, I'll also add that the pricing is extremely reasonable, the ambiance is super relaxing, and the rooms are away from the salon which makes everything very discreet. read more

Many inconsistent phone conversations regarding a groupon that was due to expire the end of March. They said they'd accept it and put me on a short call list, never got a call. When I called to see where I was on the list, they informed me a phone call was not guaranteed and now my groupon was too far expired they wouldn't take it. When I left the salon my hair was an unnatural shade of yellow at the roots and the ends were a bluish white due to the stylist using an inappropriate toner through my existing hilights while trying to tone the terrible root job she did. I am dark blond naturally and I was put under a dryer for 30 minutes, the results were shades lighter and far more big bird yellow than we had discussed. I would never go back. read more

(Trust me- I understand not getting exactly like the picture but close would be nice) it's completely uneven and so short I wouldn't let them recut it. This was my second trip to this salon - first experience was great, but no so the second time around. When I called to schedule my appointment, the girl at the front desk was very rude. I ended up scheduling with the same stylist I had my first time there. She was 35 minutes late for my appointment. After she finished, I wasn't happy with the way my bangs were cut and asked her to modify them a bit (NOT my whole head). She wouldn't do it because they'd closed 30 minutes prior, and she didn't want to wet my whole head and start over. First, I wasn't asking her to start all over... I just wanted a little modification to my bangs. Second, SHE was the one who was late to my appointment and never even had the courtesy to apologize for the delay. If she'd started my cut on time, she would have had time to give me the service I was paying for without having to stay after closing. I regret tipping her. I will NEVER go here again.
