She spent a time making sure the nail tip matched my natural nail size, and a lot of time making sure the black tip was up to par. My nails look amazing! I can't stop looking at them. I opted for a hard gel nail extension over an acrylic manicure hoping it might last longer... so we'll see!

The salon is consistently dirty, and what concerns me most is the sanitation. During my visits, I never once saw tools being sterilized between clients. From what I observed, the technicians simply pulled the tools from their carts and used them. I never saw them come from sealed sterilized pouches or go through any visible sterilization process, which raised serious concerns for me. Another ongoing issue is the scheduling. Even with an appointment, I regularly waited 45 minutes or more while walk-in customers were taken ahead of those who had scheduled in advance. It made appointments feel pointless. Cleanliness, proper sanitation, and respecting customers' time should be the bare minimum for any salon. Based on my experience, this salon falls short in all three areas. It also makes me wonder how often salons like this are inspected by the appropriate state or local licensing agency, because customer health and safety should always come first.

Diamond Nails has plenty of parking- located at the Indian Hills shopping plaza. Upon walking in, there are a few nail technician tables on the left and some pedicure chairs on the right with some polish racks in the center. We had an appointment for two pedicures, but weren't seated in our chairs until about 15 minutes after. The chairs seemed a bit worn out. The leather has seen better days, and the massage feature was too aggressive for me, no matter which setting I used. It felt like rocks being rubbed on my back. The pedicure itself was fine, and my wife says it stands up to many she's had at other nail places. Compared to places I remember visiting with my mom as a kid/teen, it has a less harsh nail chemical smell, and I enjoyed the relaxing environment. The technicians spoke to each other very quietly. I always remember loud talking and yelling across the room at nail salons when I was young. Overall, I don't have much to compare it to, but Diamond Nails offered a positive pedicure experience, and I would return.
