She only used a smoothing product, no volume, nothing for hold. She did not style only dried. She wanted to tease it at the end. I've styled my hair for years and can get tons of volume from product and a proper blow dry; I've never needed to tease. Waste of $30. I should have just used the hotel dryer.

She repeatedly said I was trying to be "malicious" in my leaving an honest comment/review about my experience. She said my review was uncalled for, and went on to treat me disrespectfully on the phone while I just tried to explain what happened. (I'm very anti-confrontational so I felt really anxious by this behavior.) She kept talking over me, around me, making up excuses for everything that I see experienced and made some harsh comments directed at me. When she asked why I didn't address my concerns in the store I told her that HER response in that moment is the exact reason why I didn't say anything. I'm disabled, and in a high stress situation (like she was making it) cognitive challenges tied to my disability are exacerbated. I explained that her belittling me and blatantly accusing me of doing things I didn't do like pulling on my polish for the sake of bad photos, exaggerating, and "being malicious" would have really made the conversion incredibly hard to deal with in person with in person. I told her it was even really hard to deal with it/her even on the phone; her belittling treatment was exactly WHY I did not say anything in person. I also explained again that I filled out their survey and waited weeks for a response. I had tried to give them a chance to contact me before I left a review. Once again she didn't believe me and told me I was malicious. After many, many minutes of feeling like I was being talked down to by an angry parent she finally suggested I come back to another location and try someone else. (Her suggestion, I was not looking for any compensation.) I did, yesterday, and that experience was a BILLION times better. I'll leave a glowing review on that location's page here shortly. Lesson learned... Don't try and leave honest opinions online about this business unless you're prepared to be talked to and treated like a naughty 6 year old, and to esentially be called a liar over and over. Managers need to take responsibility for when things go wrong. Not blame the guest and make up every excuse in the book to cover them up. -I know now they're excuses by the significantly better experience I got from their other location where she did everything above and beyond!

They charged my credit card saying inside of 24 hours-well it would be impossible to cancel inside of 24 hours - the appt wasn't even on the books that long! I am a 20+ year customer which apparently has little meaning to them - I will not be returning. In addition, since covid, every time I get my hair cut - the price has increased for one reason or another and WITHOUT ANY NOTICE and as I check out it always costs more- I am getting the same haircut I have gotten for years, from same stylist, but now it costs $25 more for what? I'm not sure what kind of haircut you can justify $75 dollars for and then want a tip on top of that?
