I recently got my hair done by Jessica B. and I was thrilled with the result. She is truly a master of her craft! I got a rose gold balayage treatment. The highlights are so natural-looking, no stripes or sharp lines, and were put in quickly. I have A LOT of pretty fine hair, so Jess' quick and gentle hand was a BIG plus for me. She did her homework on the rose gold treatment beforehand and showed me photos of what the exact product looked like on women with similar hair color to mine so I knew exactly what to expect. We also discussed some challenges for my hair and she recommended some products to try and also gave me a crash course on curling (I'm hot tool challenged!). We finished off the service - which honestly one of the best experiences I've ever had in a salon - with photos using a ring light. Hello I am a super model with my new sassy hair and gorgeous photos!! I cannot recommend her enough. The salon is also spacious and has comfortable seating both at the stations and the sinks. I just got back from having my hair done at Salon and Spa On Boulevard. I came in with a Pinterest board full of pictures that were all very similar to each other basically saying the same thing: I want an ombre color with some curls, oh and also some bangs from a different picture on my board. When we were close to done, I was able to see the results better: a poor dye job that looked like I let my roots grow in for too long (you can see what I was upset about in the photo section above). I ended up having the girl dye my hair back to dark brown. This was the first time in ten years I decided to try something adventurous with my hair and I was very disappointed (and I'm actually nervous to ever dye my hair again). I will say that the girl that was doing my hair was very kind and willing to re-do my hair until I was happy, which is why this place gets an extra star. But for the price I paid ($160), this place was not worth it by any means. There are a million salons in the Denver area and next time I will choose a place with more qualified stylists than a place that is closest to home. read more

Bought a Groupon for a shellac manicure. I tried to schedule with Zoya over 5 times within a year's time. She cancelled 3 times for medical emergencies. The last time I called her, she told me she was out of the state and to stop calling her... then proceeded to laugh at me and tell me I was a liar. She was very rude, and didn't respond well to my patience. I can't speak to the rest of the salon, or to their skills, they may be wonderful. But I had a truly awful experience with Zoya's customer service. Please, please don't out yourself through this process. Save yourself the frustration of trying to work with a flaky, unprofessional nail technician and find someone who isn't condescending to customers who have already paid. read more

Upstairs in the spa, Gina is your gal! Gentle, approachable, professional, and overall amazing. Downstairs, I love Sadie for a haircut. Intuitive with hair, listens to her customers, and just a blast to chat with. While I don't get my hair cut that often, Sadie always remembers me and is super sweet. I've also come in on numerous occasions feeling really blah with my hair and only a vague idea of what I want, and she always knows exactly what to do to make it come alive and look interesting again! I think it's about $45 for a cut, but well worth every penny. She is very intuitive with hair and what flatters your face, style, and hair type. She's also shown me pictures of highlights she's done on other people and they all look incredible, so I'm considering getting my hair dyed by her too! Sadie actually recommended Gina when I asked about waxes. I have been to Gina a number of times (including my first ever wax!) and it is consistently nothing short of pleasurable. She makes you feel very comfortable and she is very gentle - yes, even when ripping hair from your undercarriage - and a self-proclaimed perfectionist when it comes to removing hair down there. Since seeing her, I am a believer in Brazilians and the $50 every month or so is WELL worth it. She also gave me samples of products because she noticed my skin was dry when she did my eyebrows. (AND she remembered that she gave them to me and asked how I liked them the next time I came in!) I'm planning on getting a facial by her soon too because she has been amazing with the Brazilians. For the overall salon, the space is roomy enough and very clean. The receptionist is always pleasant and responsive when booking or moving appointments. read more

I really love this place but it's mainly because I go to Nadiqa (Nay-di-kah.) She's a laid back, cool chick that makes me almost fall asleep when she's blow drying and styling my hair. When I decided to dye my hair DARK brown, it looked great! And when I decided I needed to lighten it up..it looked flawless. I only make an appointment when I can go out that night and can show off my blown out locks. They have tons of products including my favorite Bumble & Bumble. Love this place! My friends mom works here as a massage therapist which is how I found out about it. Anyway I see Gina every 2 weeks for a brazilian/eyebrow wax and she is AMAZING. I am seriously anal about my eyebrows and she always does them prefectly. The eyebrows are a little expensive, but she makes up for it by only charging $50 for a brazilian. Also, they use a softer wax so it doesn't hurt as much but still gets the job done. Trust me, I'm Italian and I have A LOT of hair but that girl leaves me bare...in a good way read more

I've been to this salon two times, the first time was a really good experience. Both times were for eyebrow waxing. The first woman, who is an employee of the salon was wonderful and did a great job. On my second visit, my appointment was with a different woman who rents space at the salon. This woman was incredibly rude and it made for an unpleasant experience. My only complaint in the 5 years I have gone to this salon, is that the women at the front desk are so consistently inconsiderate and inattentive.
