Mack has a few different options to choose from as far as the amount of make up. I chose soft glam as I don't wear a lot of make up on the regular. She did a phenomenal job by bringing out some of my most favorite features (eye brows for starters, and my freckles). I never felt cakey or over done. The make up lasted all day without any fading or dripping and looked stunning until my shower. I got a lot of complements on my look as well! A few things that made me choose Mack: - she mixed a few shades to get my perfect lipstick match - when I told her I was going to wear my glasses she was able to work around this and informed me on areas which would need to be "heavier" in order to show up well beyond my glasses...the final result was amazing and if I was adamant on going "light" I would not have gotten that look Mack did a great job with all of my wedding party as well. Everyone looked stunning and she maintained a calm and down to earth presence while we got ready. In fact she was so amazing that my MOH booked her for her wedding coming up this year. I…read morelive in Texas, and my wedding was in Massachusetts, so I had to arrange for my trial to happen during spring break when I visited the area. Since I knew my wedding was in July- I had a style in mind that worked for logistical reasons, and Mackenzie replicated the style that I showed her beautifully. However, as is the reason for trials, I found I didn't quite connect with the feel of the style and concluded I wanted to go with a flowy-er half-up half-down style similar to the beautiful ones I had seen all over their portfolios. I also felt the trial make-up made me look a bit pale, and sent Courtney an email afterwards expressing the changes I was wanting. I felt nervous I was coming off as a "bridezilla" with these changes, but Courtney was very nice about it all and assured me that I was well within my rights as the bride to request these things. She also made me feel comfortable that they would be able to accommodate my wishes on the day of, even though we wouldn't be able to schedule another trial beforehand. Fast forward to my big day, everything turned out amazing. The whole getting ready process was relaxed and Courtney and Mackenzie were great company on a day that can be filled with nerves! I never once felt like I needed to check-in on how the make-up or hair were coming along which speaks to how trusting I felt of Courtney. Her and Mackenzie styled my mom's hair and make-up, my MOH's make-up (and a last minute hair style request) and the sister of the grooms hair and make-up and everyone looked incredible. My hair didn't hold the entire night- but I blame that on the insanely hot temperatures we ended up enduring within the venue! However, my make-up was perfection until beyond the next morning. I also can't go without saying how adorable the studio was that I went to for the trial. Bravo- I highly recommend Traveler Beauty Company!
