Excellent lounge experience before our flight…read more We had a great experience at the Aeromexico Lounge in Guadalajara International Airport. We arrived early and spent about two hours in the lounge before our flight. The staff at the front desk were welcoming, helpful, and made the check-in process easy. The best part is that everything in the lounge is included. There were several hot meal options available buffet style, along with drinks and cocktails. The caballero preparing the cocktails was especially attentive and made excellent Palomas. We were happy to leave him a tip for the great service. Our flight ended up being delayed, but fortunately we were able to stay comfortable in the lounge and watch the entire Portugal vs. Colombia game during the World Cup. It was the perfect place to relax while waiting for our departure. The housekeeping staff also did an excellent job keeping the restrooms clean and well maintained. Overall, this was a comfortable lounge with friendly service, great amenities, and a welcoming atmosphere. I will definitely return the next time I fly out of Guadalajara International Airport.

There aren't a lot of food options, but the food is good. You can order off a menu, but you have to pay for that. The servers here have been the nicest and most attentive of any lounge that I have been to. Hands down the best service here. They bring you your drinks and come often to clear the table and to make sure that you don't need anything. It's also very clean. We ran into a Mexican celebrity while we were there, but no one seemed to recognize her besides the workers or maybe people didn't want to bother her. Will definitely enjoy this lounge in the future.

I did a little trek in the general area we were in. Like mentioned earlier, this airport is busy due to the Sunday crowd of passengers coming and going through. But it wasn't uncomfortable or anything like that. As crowded as it was, there was still plenty of space to maneuver around everyone. I noticed how generally clean it is. I don't even remember seeing any clutter anywhere. They must have staff making it remains as so. Structure is very modern, high ceilings are always good. Plenty of choice for eateries as well as stores for souvenirs. Good first run. Wouldn't mind coming through here again.

The international security is now on top while the domestic security is near the ticket agents. Security is easy. No need to take off shoes or remove electronics. Just remember to pack your Mexican cheese in your suitcase and not in your carryon bag or it will be removed. The upper level is newer as it has been remodeled. There are a lot of stores and restaurants. Going to the A gates still sucks as you either have to walk on the tarmac or take a bus to get on an airplane. There's a kid playground and plenty of seating to catch a breather

You must try the chipotle bbq wings the sauce was amazing! I wash it down with a Jamaica mojito the best mojito I've had in a really long time! Grilled chicken was nice and juicy and the veggies and Parmesan cheese was a nice balance. Prices are typical for the airport slightly under that most other options. Hope you all give them a shot!
