Marie is such a talented lash artist, she does beautiful work. I've been seeing Marie for lashes for almost 4 years now. I followed her to the super cute Salon Bloom when she left Platinum Lashes because she is THAT great! She's a sweetheart and our appointments just fly by. I initially found the Lash Attic on Yelp and have been going every 3 weeks for the last 6 months, I think it's pretty safe to say that this review is long overdue! I didn't realize there were different kinds but I have the volume lashes that are super full, but they are definitely faux. I mean, I wouldn't wear mink around my shoulders, why would I want them around my eyes?? Not to toot my own horn or anything, but my lashes look amazing. Then again, I can't really take credit for any of this since I just have to get there, lay back, kick my feet up and Linda takes care of it from there. She's the best! She's so good, you can tell she's skilled with her movements even with your eyes closed. She's kind, accommodating and really sensitive of her clients' needs. Once, I had a phone conference scheduled at the last minute and had to change my hour appt to only 30 mins. Linda was very understanding and by the time she was done, my lashes still looked so great even with half the time! Talk about grace under pressure. Yes, she's fast but that's just because she's extremely efficient and proficient with those tweezers! Although I kind of appreciate the speed, I always book a full hour. Even though I've had to squeeze in a 30 min. fill before, it isn't a realistic amount of time to expect someone to take their time and reset the lashes, especially if it's been more than 10 days since your last appointment. You gotta pay the champagne price if you're expecting the champagne experience! I have terrible seasonal allergies with watery eyes, and Linda is always mindful of that. I'm only giving this low review based on the experience and lack of communication BUT not on the actual job because I did not get my eyelashes done. I had called to make an appointment and I was not informed that there were 2 salon blooms in same location so that was a bit tricky to get too. I had called to inform the salon that I was running late, but since the 2 salons are separated the receptionist at the hair salon did not communicate to the eyelash studio about my call. Since I did not arrive they thought it was a no show. This place can definitely improve on their communication to avoid this situation in the future. Anyone else? That's how I feel about Lash Attic. As an eyelash extension devotee for over 2 years, I've tried several places and none were quite the right fit. One in a home salon who forgot a few appointments and then told me that I "should have reminded her," one that threatened to charge me for missing an appointment for coming down the flu that day, one with many estheticians with varying degrees of experience and never knowing who I'd be assigned to. Since there aren't many lash salons in this area, I thought I'd give them a try! I didn't know this, but Lash Attic is separate from Salon Bloom, across the parking lot and upstairs in the building next to Casa Jimenez. The salon was exactly what I hoped for in terms of environment.... quiet, calm, peaceful, with privacy between beds. Linda worked with me that day and told me that she and the owner, Judy, met in beauty school and have been working together since the lash salon opened. The speed and quality of her work is a testament to her many years of lash experience. She told me that she never takes 2 full hours on a 2-3 week fill, and she filled my sad, sparse lashes from the last salon in under an hour and a half, only charging me for a fill. She's also very sweet, kind and seems to really care about making her clients happy. Some of them drive from LA every 3 weeks to see her, and some have been coming to see her for many years.... none of which surprised me. She really listened to what I wanted and delivered...... full, long, dramatic lashes. A new set of volume lashes is $145. 2-3 week fills are $60 (a great deal in my experience!) and 1 week is just $35; great if you just need a little touch-up or have a profession where you what your lashes to look perfect 24/7. Krystal Rain did a full set lash extensions on me and I'm obsessed with how good my lashes look!! She did a full look, but staggered the length so they would look more natural. I love waking up in the morning with my lashes done and really cutting my time in half to get ready in the morning!! I loved how Krystal worked on my lashes her technique was to do one eye then move to the other eye, back and forth not complete one eye then move on to the next. I asked her reason for that she said "so your lashes come out more equally the same and not one eye better then the other, or for me to finish one eye then still have the other one to do" I thought that was really smart and for me as a client I felt the process went a bit faster then normal. Lash extensions are so worth it I don't think I will be without them ever! And with Krystal as my artist I'm so happy! read more

Someone recommended Salon Bloom's Lash Attic after I had my LAST horrible experience with the receptionist at another lash place (I'll just say it's in Downtown Glendora! Google lashes in Glendora and it will come up PL) after a year and a half of being a loyal customer! They had the rudest receptionist that talked behind clients backs a couple times as soon as they left. She also made it hard for ME to schedule appts. They would always have to make appts 2-3 weeks in advance!?! Not to mention one of their best last techs (Kim) left. The Glendora location also had ONE great receptionist named Candace who just disappeared so, it was time for me to leave. Anyways, This place is the cutest, it's two doors down from their hair salon. There is also a cute little coffee/cafe place located downstairs and I have to mention, not only are the girls the sweetest at the attic, the residents and owners in downtown are happy and friendly! Ok so back to the attic. They have a wonderful lash tech who did my lashes that exceeded my expectations! I hear they are all just as good so, I'm excited to return. The vibe was great and relaxed. Nobody talking about anyone negatively. Just happy conversations and beautiful lashes! I also love the fact that I called to make a appointment and was scheduled the very next day! So far I've been complimented on my lashes twice. I will come back later to update my review to let you all know how my beautiful lashes have held up. Great quality lashes! The products used like the glue etc have so far held up great and didn't smell chemically. The price was beyond reasonable! Come in and give them a try, you won't regret it! I've been here several times to see Linda. I grew more disappointed with each session. They did look decent, but they would fall out so quickly and I would need a fill after a week and a half. She is fast but probably rushes too much and doesn't really take the time to ask what you want. She also would eat during the session and text which made me very annoyed and seemed like I wasn't getting my money's worth at all. You can tell she doesn't care very much. The biggest disappointments were the techniques she used as well as the lashes that were used. Lash attic uses much thicker lashes than other places which use mink. Mink doesn't weigh your lashes down and looks more natural. It looks extra amazing when you get them done full compared to the ones used at lash attic. If you want them full at lash attic they simply attach three synthetic lashes onto one of your lashes with a big glob of glue. This makes them fall out easier, in bug clumps which looks terrible when they grow out more. I would say do your research and invest in a quality lash salon that helps your lashes stay healthy and looking amazing. read more

I purchased a full set on Groupon, they had great reviews the salon itself was nice and the ladies were friendly. I was just very unsatisfied with the lashes and application job, even after the owner "fixed them" I wouldn't go back or recommend this place to a friend.. I feel like the lashes look cheap and the the application job had little to no shape almost like the lashes were clumped up with extra glue and had too many of the same length lashes. I first had my lashes done by Judy at Salon bloom before leaving for my destination wedding in April. Judy was the only lasher at the time & her schedule was VERY full. I made an appointment with her as close to my departure date as I could get & upon hearing that I was a bride & wanted my lashes to look as fabulous as possible for my wedding she graciously offered to come into the salon on her day off to do them for me the day before my flight :) needless to say I absolutely loved the results & my whole trip I felt so lovely - especially on my wedding day! I opted for the NovaLashes & also purchased the NovaLash mascara to coat them & add a little extra darkness & achieve a more dramatic look with my bridal makeup. The lashes lasted & looked great for weeks! Several weeks later I had Judy remove the lashes (I had waited too long to just have them filled). I was happy to see that after weeks if wearing the NovaLashes my natural lashes were unharmed & perfectly fine just as they were before. Soooo Judy recommend that I try the volume/fullness lashes next. I quickly scheduled another appointment to have them applied in time for my best friends wedding a few weeks later. I am a first time lash wearer, and my sis in law put mine on while on vacation at her home in Idaho. She does an awesome job. So, when I came home, I researched a bit on where to go for a fill. I chose Lash Attic. It's super close to my house and a couple of my friends worked there. Besides, I like to support my town Claremont. My appointment was for a FILL. The receptionist who made my appointment said it was going to be an hour. I don't know the rules on time with lashes, so I said "great". I asked for Juliet. My friend referred me and I checked on Yelp..great reviews. Juliet greeted me with a smile. We talked about my lashes. I told her about my sis in law putting them on, she noticed I liked the natural look. We chatted a bit more, I told her the number of lashes used on me, then she asked if I wanted a more Vavoom look. I said, ooooh, I love Vavoom. She then showed me pictures. I chose one I liked. She told me it would take 90 min, "is that ok?" I said sure. The process took 2 hours. She wanted me to make another appointment with her to properly complete my right eye. The classic lashes I had on were still holding on pretty good, so she wanted to follow up with me in case they fell out. When we were done my eyes felt good. Juliet was very caring and meticulous. She was funny and gentle. But, I asked her how much it would be and she said "150". I was in shock. "Did they tell you a different price?" I said no one told me a price. I then asked her how much fills were, she said $60. I had no idea I was going in for a full set. I had no idea Vavoom meant it was going to cost me over double the price for a fill. I had no idea I was going to be there for 2 hours instead of 1 and I had to pay for it. I'm easy going and don't like to kick up a fuss. I suppose I should've asked more questions. I should've educated myself more on this procedure. I will not be returning to Lash Attic for my right eye. Both eyes still look good for over a week since this happened. I just feel swindled. I feel Juliet or the receptionist should've been more candid with me as a new customer on pricing. I did ask on the phone when I made the appointment but didn't get an answer because we got caught up in conversation. Is it my fault? Maybe. However, I had no idea my fill was changing to a full. I did ask her after about the price changing because of more lashes and she said yes. Bummer. I'm on the hunt again for my next fill. I will not refer my friends. read more

I got my lashes done about two weeks ago by Krystle and I love them! They look longer and much fuller. I have had so many compliments and people even think I have a bunch of mascara on. Krystle did an amazing job! I have also got a facial by Krystle as well. It was so relaxing. She didn't rush threw like some facials I have been to in the past.
