Since I have dry skin, she focused on hydration throughout the treatment. Prior to the appointment, I received a client intake form and directions to the studio. Bare Sugar Beauty is located inside the Labella Salon Suites. I like that their door has a number pad, so it keeps the randoms out of the suites. I arrived a little early and Amber welcomed me back. She was very professional and friendly. She uses a sugar wax. Sugar waxing is a great all natural product and it's applied at a comfortable temperature so no risk of burning. It's safe to apply is to the same area twice. Amber was super meticulous and waxes so that the hair is pulled in a natural direction, which helps prevent ingrown hairs. For anyone not familiar with waxing or sugar. You start off by cleaning off the area. Powder is applied to keep the sugar or wax from sticking to your skin. Then the waxing. And then serum to sooth the area and prevent ingrown hairs.
