Jenny took me last minute as a walk in and gave me the haircut of my dreams! I went from long hair that weighed itself down and I couldn't do much with to a 70's style cut like Stevie Nicks! Jenny was wonderful to talk to and gave me the best cut-layers, faceframing, and bangs that suit my face! :) will be going back! HORRIBLE DONT GO! I asked for a touch to my roots and she bleached my whole head. No toner or anything. In the lighting of the salon it looked decent but could've been better but once I got home it was completely bleached. She was even asking her other hair dresser for opinions on my hair and how to retouch my roots. Then she made me take a shampoo home and told me to use this so the bright blonde will come out! I used it and nothing happened. My hair is now back to normal thank god and but my hair was breaking off and my hair is soooo brittle it comes out every once and a while due to all the coloring I had to do after the bleach. WASTE OF MONEY. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. read more

Really nice place, seemed like a good atmosphere based on how everyone around me was interacting. I went in with pretty long curly hair that was very dead on the ends. I asked for my hair to be cut to my shoulders (indicating where I wanted it cut with my hands) because it would end up bouncing up a lot afterwards. I wasn't even asked if the length was good before any chopping started. She just went in straight away to chopping my hair. Usually you start longer and go from there especially with curly hair.. this did not happen and I'm not entirely satisfied with what I've got. There was absolutely no way I could go back from what she gave me. I wish she would have been more considerate and made sure that the length would be good for me. A more conservative approach to cutting would have been appreciated. Now I have very short hair (above my shoulders) that I did not want. I feel that I could have gone to great clips and spent far less money for the same results even better. I came here expecting to get great results and more attention than I would elsewhere the whole interaction took 10 minutes. I'm highly unsatisfied. read more

Chelsea did a fantastic job, as well as being a delight to converse with, not only did she give the best hair cut for someone with curly hair but took the time to educate me on the proper routine needed to keep my hair healthy and looking it's best! During my most recent visit to my home away from home of Fayetteville, I was in desperate - nay, DIRE! - search of a last minute pro-level beard trim. There was no way I was gonna go to some $8 chop shop and have this glorious and deliciously soft face pelt butchered at the hands of the inexperienced. It would be an affront to God himself. Instead, I made a quick call over to Salon Fix and the gals there somehow shoehorned me into their already PACKED schedule, judging from all the people in the place. You know, a lot of places are just filled with bored girls ticking away the time on their smart phones in between bigger clients, but Alicia made time and got me all trimmed up during her busy day. This is a very nice salon with multiple stylists. They most amazing colorist I've ever met is Alicia. She also gives consistently awesome haircuts. She has a heart that rivals most People's. Her prices are fair and consistent and I never once left her salon unhappy with any service! So if you're new in town or just need to shake it up and then go by Salon FIXX ask for Alicia and I am certain that you will leave happy with a full salon experience. this place sucks, if I could leave 0 stars I would. first off I asked for dark brown, received the darkest black I possibly could. secondly prices were never spoken about or made aware to me. I booked online and was told it would be 85 for all over color and cut, time to pay and i'm now paying 175. what??? ended up talking to them and the owner, amy, who did my hair said that 85 is for root touch up, which is wrong, then switched her story to saying 85 is the starting price for all over color, throughout my whole time in the chair she never said "this is going to cost more" or "you have a lot of hair so it'll be extra" complete and utter scam, 175 dollars for something I didn't want, ridiculous and yet I still tipped 20%!!!!! read more
