They got me in right away, were really nice when I got in, and Lauren did a great job with my hair (which is not easy).

The salon is clean and beautiful…read more Since I am new to the area, I booked with Karen, supposedly the owner, specifically because I have not had great experiences with nail tech's since leaving Chicago. I didn't like that bait and switch. It should have been communicated that Karen wasn't available. I was very uncomfortable during the 11/2 hr pedicure. The way it's set up just is odd. The bowl kept slipping so I was trying to hold it so it didn't slip which hurt my legs. The opposite of what a relaxing spa experience should have been. I had two toe nails that were broke so to keep my nails even she left them completely uneven. No communication at all. She should have said since your 2 nails broke do you want me to cut the others down to make these 2 straight or keep them long and these 2 will be crooked. But she didn't speak at all. At all. I asked her to do a 3rd coat since it was streaky. She needed it to dry before putting on a topcoat. At that time my pedicure was over 90 mins already and I had an appt after my services, so I suggested that we start my manicure and then put the top coat on after my manicure. She said no she couldn't do that. No discussion just no. So I skipped the top coat. Definitely just get cozy not cozier or coziest. The towel was cold in a few minutes but she was gone for the 5 mins it was on and the massage was too soft. I decided to just get a cozy manicure. My manicure turned out ok but no scrub nolotion at all. That just seems weird. I was there for 2 1/2 hrs but would have been there for 3 if I didn't downgrade. All for an uncomfortable, subpar service. Not again. Oh and it was Valentine's Day week and not one person came in or called the entire time I was there. Odd. Or maybe not so odd after my experience.

The interior is small, inviting, and cozy with extremely friendly staff. I don't recall how long it was altogether, but I really loved the quality and attention to detail and they were very friendly throughout, including offering some beverages. I have a bad habit of picking at my fingers and they did a great job at cleaning up the damage I had done previously. I would love to return!

The staff were all super nice and got me water and gave lots of compliments. Before coming in, I checked the website, which listed a regular fill as $20. I asked for a basic fill and got the same type of service I've always had. Nothing was explained to me as being different or upgraded. When I went to check out, I was charged $40. When I questioned the price, I was told it was because of "powder," which was never discussed during the service and is what I've always had on my nails. Later, when I called for clarification, I was told the price difference was actually because the online prices haven't been updated -- which directly contradicts what I was told in the salon. During the service, I also had to ask the technician multiple times to file underneath my nails. My natural nails are yellow, broken, and in poor condition, and I specifically asked for them to be cleaned properly. The technician became visibly annoyed, sighed, rushed the service, and still did not do it correctly. I left feeling uncomfortable and unhappy with both the service and the lack of transparency. I've attached photos so others can see the condition my nails were left in. Between the unprofessional attitude, inconsistent pricing, and poor communication, I won't be returning.

She sees my unique needs and tends to them perfectly as she truly listen and cares for her clients. The atmosphere here is impeccable from the moment you walk in. Also, they have the food network channel which pulls me back time after time bc you mean I get I to watch my fav shows and get my nails done. A DREAM! It also is so cute in there. Xoxo

I sat and waited till anyone came at 6:15 but was fine with that (schedules run late i get it). I had a picture saved of a simple color with chrome on top and asked the tech if she could help me find the color. She told me I had to pick it out myself but I requested that she helped me since she was an expert and she seemed annoyed. Anyways, I chose out the color and she began. I asked her AFTER SHOWING A PICTURE OF MY DESIGN MULTIPLE TIMES (mind you, a simple color with chrome) if we could do a tester on one nail to see if the color looks good and she said yes. since the salon was closing up, they asked if they could charge me before the design was done and I said OK. I paid my $70 and left a tip. Fast forward 30 minutes she's working on the design and remembers that there's chrome in it. She says she didn't count me for the chrome charge and that I have to pay an extra $15. I was kind of taken aback and even asked her to confirm if this would be 15 on top of the 70$ she had already charged me and she said yes. Whatever I paid and continued. She starts my first nail with a red color and it looks so bright that I remind her if we can test just one nail. She gets so annoyed and starts complaining saying she'll have to charge me extra if we test the nails and have to take them off and goes on to say that it's very late and she should be home right now. That moment made me feel so bad and embarrassed and on top of that, I had to pay so much more than I was expecting for a simple design that the entire experience was ruined. like I understand that people get tired after a long day, but is it my fault that I had a *SCHEDULED* appointment and that she just so happened to be my nail tech? It seemed like she was so frustrated throughout the entirety of the process that I regretted even coming in the first place.
