After looking for a local salon to get a gel set st I found this salon and they had an option to…read moreschedule online. I picked a time for today, Monday, and received a confirmation email. I had sent a Facebook message to the business to ask them where exactly they are located at on Sunday at around 830 pm. I knew it was late but I assumed they get back to me in the morning. I went about my day and heard nothing from them so I finished my day at work and headed to the salon, once I got to the shop at around 350, my appointment was for 4, I was greeted by two clients and a stylist who looked At me like I had three heads. There was also a dog running around all over. She told me to have a seat but no one was here so she had no idea. While I was sitting there I received a message that the salon was closed today and that the nail tech would email me. I left and left so embarrassed, why allow someone to schedule if your not even open!!! Will never be going to this salon or recommending this salon to any one in the back mountain.

I told the guy on the phone, that I needed a set of full highlights, and that I have very fine hair and it processes super quick. I've always paid for this service , at other salons, right about $140. The gentleman on phone, quoted me $145. I was just appreciative that they could fit me in, so I went for service. I explained to stylist, that I ABSOLUTELY do not get toner on my hair, she tried to say I need it, but I did not want. After she washed my highlights out, she put something on my hair, (I thought she was giving 2nd shampoo) but when I asked, she BLATANTLY did NOT listen, and she applied toner. I asked her to rinse it right out. I was already upset by that. Then she gave me a "haircut", a 3 min haircut she just grabbed random sections of hair and cut. At this point, I just told her I had to go, so I left with wet hair, she didn't even have to blow dry or style . Wen I went to pay, she proceeded to tell me my total was $303.00??!!! I nearly fell over. I've NEVER paid that for 4 different services, and all I did was get highlights, (and I do not have alot of hair), and approx a 4 strand , 3 min trim , with no blow dry or style. Has ANYONE EVER have ANY salon , in this area , charge that, especially after quoted 145. Not even at High End salons, which are classy and have beautiful ambiance, have come close to charging that. And this place is a little, very old place, dingy and drab inside, but had audacity to charge that. How in good conscience, cod a business owner charge someone that. Definitely steer clear of this place, and lesson learned....even if need ur hair done asap, just wait and go to an honest, reputable salon

They have changed some of the staff and offerings over the years, but fundamentally they are a great barber shop that always makes the extra effort to know what you want done ahead of time, make sure you are happy, and provide a great value for your dollars. They are great with kids and people of all ages are always in for haircuts. With the recent sad fire above Jim Finn's barbershop in the same shopping center, people should give A's a shot because they do a great job!
