Over time we were able to find the style I liked and have been able to return for continued services. When I was getting married she and her staff helped with our hair for the engagement photos and as the big day came, she was not able to provide the service based on scheduling conflicts, though she was able to refer/recommend and amazing person to do our hair. My family spent approximately $1,500 at Oaselle Salon for services on April 17, 2026, plus a follow-up visit, and the experience did not match the pricing or reputation. The most concerning issue was the lack of cleanliness. The photos I've included were taken during both the initial appointment and the follow-up visit, and they show visible dirt, smudging, and buildup in client areas (walls, baseboards, and stations). This clearly was not a one-time oversight, but an ongoing issue. There were also concerns with tools being taken from drawers and appearing to be reused without clear sanitation, which added to the overall discomfort. On top of that, the results themselves were not satisfactory and required a return visit, which still did not resolve the problems. When I reached out to the salon to address this and request a refund, the response was not solution-oriented and instead required repeated justification. Went in there today for a consultation and the hairdresser that helped me was very sweet and knowledgeable, but the problem was the hairdresser next to her, the whole time I was there she had a client she was doing, but she kept staring at me in the mirror making ugly faces at me and if looks could kill I'd be dead. I don't know what her problem was, but she was looking at me like I was some homeless person that walked off the street and had no business being there. I should've said something to her, but I didn't. I just sat there stewing. I'm feeling very uncomfortable at thinking what is this woman's problem? I made an appointment to return, but I'm going to cancel it. I think that that salon caters to a certain age group and that may have been the problem. I have been seeing Kara for a little over a year now for hair cuts and about a month ago I entrusted her with the task of lightening up my dirty blonde hair a bit for summer. I cannot emphasize what a fantastic job she did. From day one it looked fresh, sunny, youthful and completely natural. Now, after about a month of grow out, it still looks phenomenal and so natural it looks like my own hair (but way better). She's a true wizard. I am so grateful to have found my hair person! The solon overall is lovely and bright, with acceptable parking options. Bathroom is adorable and the front desk staff are polite. It's been like 6 months since I've discovered this place. I tried looking for another place due to my living circumstances, but I just can't go anywhere else anymore. I'm actually afraid of someone else touching my hair. I love all the services here. This place is awesome I definitely recommend! I came in for the first time today, and I'll definitely be back! Cesar gave me such a cute blowout today, not to mention THEE best scalp massage I've ever had. I had Katerina do a full highlight. It's been years since someone did this bad of a job on my hair! The rumination of her ruining my hair is hanging over me like an unwanted dinner guest. I showed her the photos of what I wanted and explained that I do not want a lot of root/Minimal dimension. Underneath I wanted a baby light. She said she could do all of that. She did the opposite of that. During the highlight application she was placing an order with a color rep. I seriously did not want to listen to all of that when she was working on my hair. I was treated like I wasn't even sitting there. Then she walked off in the middle of applying color. Come on. Unprofessional. I felt like I wasn't checked on enough while sitting with the foils, and had people flag her down since I started to get worried about hair damage. Stressful experience. The toner was put on by an assistant who I informed that my hair soaks up toner. I was told they would leave me on for 5 minutes. Seemed a lot longer than 5 minutes. Sure enough it pulled gray. I was pretty upset. Katerina came by mumbled something and ran off to work on another client. I felt panicked and like I was left to deal with this on my own. It was beyond stressful and insulting. Had someone get her and she told me the assistant would wash out the toner with some shampoo and bleach. I'm concerned and she tells me it won't damage my hair. After they started drying it the top has warmth and so do other sections. The front where the baby hair is half blond and have red. The highlight looked sloppy, and unprofessional. NOT what I paid for and expected. I'm also offended by the way I was treated as a client. She told me she would fix the front. My hair looks like it's two-toned. It absolutely is not some type of red that she tried to play off as my root color. I went back for a fix. She only put in more pieces in the front and didn't fix the other issues. Said I want something other than a highlight. I told her I get my hair done every 3 months and it doesn't look like this. I've been getting highlights for years so spare me the gaslighting. Basically she didn't do what she said she was going to do. Or what I paid for. Barely put highlights in the back and left me to deal with a mess that I now have to pay someone else to fix. I'm furious! I went in for a consult with another salon today. The stylist there told me the pieces that are showing warmth weren't pulled through enough. He also went though sections in the back with old highlights growing out that weren't refreshed. Glad someone else verified this poor and sloppy work. I also was told I need to wait another 5 weeks before redoing the work in fear of hair falling out. I asked him how bad is this highlight from 1-10. He said a six. Thanks for ruining my hair Katerina and in turn putting a negative vibe on my summer --There is no excuse for this type of experience at a salon. The entire process was hectic and stressful and to not even deliver on what I was promised yet charge for a full highlight is called running a scam and astronomical unprofessionalism. I've had my hair done by Zoe who is awesome for color and cuts, and Gabby has done cuts in the past and did a great job, hence the extra star. I was really unhappy with the pricing at this salon and the short lived depth of the brown they used in my hair. After two washes my hair color is back to how I came in, I went in for all over color and highlights. They really nickel and dime you. Be prepared to pay $500 without a haircut...before tip...for them to put brown in your roots pull it through, add a couple of highlights and toner. To think toner and roots is an added cost on top of color and highlights is crazy. The salon looks new but it is already showing wear and tear. I have a nice hairdresser, far, who does all of that and more for $250! My bad for tying to stay local. I will say the actual work looked great when I left, the brown and toner just did not last as good after the 2nd wash, and it was a bit of price gouging. To think if I had a haircut too it would have been $700!!! I think they took advantage of me as a walk in. read more

Awful Dye job AND HAIR WAS THROWN AWAY. I hate that I have to write this review but I need my money back ($738.03). I'll also be reaching out to the owner of the salon about this issue. I had my 22" and 18" rooted, blonde extensions from The Hair Shop removed in early January. I bought the tape ins in October and more in September. The removal was fine and I simply wanted to have my natural hair back. But Since then, Olya has had my hair extensions in the back of the shop because she did not return them to me at the end of the removal appointment. Fine, I will pick them up at a later date. Not a big deal. Please note the hair was real hair, 22 and 18 inches, blonde, and a LOT of sandwiches, I had been back and forth to Hair Shop to buy multiple packs multiple times during 2 different appointments because we color matched and switched it up 2 times. So I had a LOT of hair. I will attach receipts showing how much I paid as well - $738.03. On March 26th during a late appointment, around 7pm, I went in to get my hair dyed back to my root color. I asked for semi permanent dye. ( my natural root color is a Light, ashy brown). I'll also attach the inspo pics I showed Olya... She dyed my hair nearly black / My hair was BLACK at the ends from her failing to do a test strand and her not determining the porosity of my fine, damaged blonde / light brown hair. When I started to tell her (with wet, DARK hair in the chair) that it was way too dark, she said to "just wait until we dry it" and at that point I knew it was bad. I was terrified to speak up but I said "we need to wash some of the dye out please, this is not what I asked for" she proceeded to do not one but I think maybe THREE bleach washes, I know this because I took pictures of the bottle she used because I smelled bleach during all of the washes in attempts to lighten in too fast. At 10pm, more than three hours later, I left the salon in tears. She did not charge me. My hair was SO dark. I tried for days to wash out the dye. It's been nearly two months now since March 26th and my hair is still DARK, with reddish undertones. I feel like the dye wasn't semi permanent. I don't feel confident with it down at all. I bought clip ins to try and help feel better about it. I will attach pics. This story doesn't end here though. March 14th Wednesday (last week) I needed my hair extensions back. I texted Olya to let her know I come grab them. She said great I will give them to you. She comes out with a bag of random hair, and tells me my hair extensions have been THROWN AWAY. Hundreds of dollars worth of hair I bought from hair shop saving up for, using points for, waiting years to buy and get put in. And she hands me a random plastic bag of hair with USED tape ins, some platinum blonde, DAMAGED ENDS, 14" (some shorter??) and some rooted. The glue is old on some, dusty, and damaged. Clearly some used. There's one new pack in the bunch. I was appalled when I picked them up and regretfully just said "okay, thank you". And left. I didn't know what to say until now. I need my money back for my extensions that were thrown away at salon Oaselle. I'm so sad about this entire experience honestly. I have never written a review this bad but this has haunted me and I just feel awful. I just want my money back for my tape in extensions, $738.03, and that's it. I want to end on the note that Olya is a great hair stylist when it comes to tape in extensions. However, my personal experience with a color appointment was that she booked this appointment too late, it was rushed, badly executed, VERY badly revised, and then even WORSE my tape in hair was thrown away. read more

I am so happy with how my hair turned out. It's taken me almost a decade to entrust anyone with dying my hair again and Cory took my expectations to a new level. She cut and colored my dark, long hair and turned it into a subtle summer fun style. I explained my hair journey and insecurities about my hair/styling and she navigated through my issues with knowledge and care. I went from feeling like a wicked witch with long frizzy dark hair to hair with dimension and body. I didn't cut my hair for almost 5 years. I have never had it styled or cut before in my life. I had called so many salons not only in the area but outside of it too and everyone was either rude or really didn't care what questions I had or what I had to say.
