Where to start... my stylist suggested we both join an app for kagel exercises ‍ slightly inappropriate! Whilst applying my color she told me of the many woes of her family including her sister's break up and her father alcoholism! I started to wonder isnt the hairdresser supposed to listen to my problems... actually that was the least of it, after applying my color I didn't see her again for about 45 minutes, I had gotten up several times to stretch my legs, I was not offered any water or any attention at all. finally she came back through the door and the look on her face told me she had forgotten I was there , she rushed me to the basin... my color was splotchy at the front and my head was burning ... this was two months ago I have agonized about doing this review... I will never go back.. since then all off my hair has broken off. It was more than just a bad experience...I think the stylist was drinking I have no prove of this, but if that is the case I hope this review inspires that person to get help. read more

Had an appointment here to get a hair trim! My hair came out beautiful, so I have nothing negative to say about the skills of the women at this salon, they know what they're doing. However, when I went, it was somewhat of an awkward environment since the lady who was scheduled to do my hair, and her sister, were having an argument. They both disappeared to the back for about 20 minutes to hash it out while I sat there waiting. I was so excited to find a salon with such amazing reviews and reasonable prices, but environment plays a huge role in my experience, and I must say it was a bit uncomfortable!! Tawny stepped up and helped wash my hair, she was lovely! Anyways, I don't know if I will go back. Was a strange first experience to say the least. This review is definitely overdue. Maria did an amazing job with my hair! I had been dying my hair black for a long time and she was able to get my hair to a light blonde while making sure my hair was cared for and healthy. I absolutely love the cut and coloring that she did for me. She is passionate and definitely loves what she does. She went much more than the extra mile to make what I envisioned happen. So. I reside in the San Fernando Valley. I had paid a lot for a Balayage awhile ago (September 2023) and from the jump I didn't like it. I told them and they "fixed" it but I still didn't like it so I didn't go back. Salon Oh! Is a cozy place with passionate people who care about quality and especially about you feeling great when you leave. I believe you'd be in good hands with anyone there. They fixed my San Fernando hair and now it's what I wanted originally. They just get it. They get hair, they get humans. They're pretty dope. I got a scalp massage, a hair wash/ condition, toner, cut, dry and curl! It was fast but not rushed. IYKYK Going back because I genuinely loved the service and the outcome. Called for an appt the day of and they were able to do 2 haircuts within 2 hours of my call. Services: my daughter has a lil fear of getting her haircut and Sandra was so wonderful! She saved the hair and made me and my daughter feel safe! Halfway through her haircut, Shayla started washing my hair and got me set up for my haircut. Prices are a lil high but I feel like it was worth it. It gives high end vibes! Consultation: they listen, they were able to give feedback, and communicate during the cuts. Overall: I think I will come back but stagger when I go to make sure it doesn't break the bank. read more

I was lucky enough to get in that afternoon with Sandy and I'm so happy with my entire experience. She listened and explained so well and away we went. I paid $165 and just want to dye my hair black again. I got a haircut and she maybe cut my hair in 4 places and charged me for a full hair cut. I am soooo disappointed! I had been coming to Salon Oh for a few years now. I've had my hair cut and dyed blonde/balayage with Jamie and Sandy. They both are good hairdressers, but I did have a preference for Sandy's work. Over the years, I have referred numerous people (at least 4-5) through direct referral or indirectly through my social media accounts. In fact, one of them just got their hair done with Jamie this week. Unfortunately, I will not be going back. I scheduled an appointment with Sandy two weeks in advance because I wanted a haircut and roots touched up before I started grad school. I scheduled my appointment for the only open slot I had in my hectic schedule. However, when I texted Sandy a week prior to the appointment I didn't get a response. I understand people get busy so I figured she'd get back to me when she could. I never ended up getting a response. Fast-forward to the day before the appointment. I text Sandy once again to confirm the appointment the next day. Again, never got a response. Once again, I don't have issue with their hair services, and I hate to go through the pain of looking for a new stylist, but the main reasons I won't be going back is I need a stylist I CAN COUNT ON. My husband came to Sandy based on my reviews. I regret making him an appointment because she does not know how to do mens' haircut. This is his review: Not very happy with the way my hair was cut..I have been growing out my hair for a while and had ideas of different styles. I did share my ideas with Sandy and provided pics of the haircuts I was interested in. She assured me she knew how to cut my hair. I am dissapointed how my hair turned out..she cut too much on one side and left the other uneven.
