The other thing that's awesome about her is she has been helping me grow out my hair. Usually stylist want to cut it but she was the first one I had that said no will just take a little bit off and we can grow this hair out. She gave me tricks and techniques to help me, and now my hair is in the best condition of my life. She's very honest, and very reasonable I love the salon everybody that works here has been so kind and professional. She has been helping me grow out my hair and has an amazing knowledge of the science of hair, which is so fascinating to me. Lily is the best, hands-down!

I was running 10 minutes late due to traffic and called ahead. The receptionist was kind and said they would wait, but I can't help wondering if my poor experience was retaliation for being late. First, the haircut itself was bad (let my picture speaks for itself). I've had bad haircuts before, but this was probably one of the worst -- even worse than the one I once got at a $10 chain salon many years ago. I showed Todd a reference photo, but what I got looked nothing like it. My hair was uneven (clearly visible in the photos), and from the back it looks like a mop. He didn't ask me basic questions -- such as where I part my hair or how much length I wanted -- and when he was done, he didn't even show me the back with a mirror (which makes sense now, because it looks terrible). The service was just as bad as the haircut. While drying my hair, he used such a high heat setting that it burned my scalp -- and even five days later, my scalp still hurts. During the cut, he walked away for 5-6 minutes without saying anything, leaving me awkwardly facing the entrance gate with hair all over my face ( he did not even bother to rotate my chair back to face the mirror). The same thing happened at the shampoo station, where I was left staring at the ceiling, wondering if he would come back. For almost $100 (including tip), I expected a professional haircut and at least decent service with some communication. I regret ever going to Mather Salon. I am also attaching my credit card statement so you know it was my authentic experience.

I was furious after leaving that salon, but I was very happy leaving this salon. I'm giving Michael's card to my coworkers because she's so good. I almost never do that. My hair was probably to the lower middle of my back and down past my chest. With the cut I wanted my hair should've stopped right at the bottom of my chest. The girl cutting my hair was very nice but she cut around 5-6 inches off and now my hair is around the top of my chest and collarbone. I love my long hair and I am very sad so have short hair like this for the first time in probably 6-7 years at least. Also, this may be my problem but I do get dandruff and when the lady washed my hair she did not scrub my scalp at all, just rubbed soap on my hair then rinsed it off. So I left the salon with short blow dried hair and a layer of dandruff on my scalp after being washed. Would not recommend.

And though I am not difficult or picky, I do constantly change my highlights between red and blonde, so that makes her job a bit harder, but she always comes through with exactly what I wanted and I've never left disappointed. Another thing worth mentioning is that she only trims as much as I ask for, never more. I've had hairdressers in the past say they're cutting an inch off and 3 inches later......this doesn't happen with Cassie. Super nice & sweet too! Thanks Cassie for always making me beautiful.
