I love Mexican food my husband not so much. We shared carnitas and yellow rice. My husband is the best review He took a bite of the carnitas and was like this is good. We received fast service on a Monday at 11 am. They have a lot of choices for their lunch specials and we also received free chips and salsa in addition to the small cheese dip we ordered. My son likes the Jarritos bottled sodas. I got the chicken palomino lunch special, son got the two burrito special, and husband ordered the chimichanga. We also ordered churros for dessert. Price was right and food was plentiful! Our server was very attentive and we hit the road quickly back to Atlanta after our lunch break. They do have a lot of choices on their lunch menu, which was a variety of items. Decided on the fajitas. Good portion for lunch size! Guacamole was fresh, could taste the lemon in it, which I love. We have traveled by this restaurant for several years going back and forth to family. Today we decided to stop to celebrate my birthday. So glad we did!! Wonderful margarita, delicious three meat nachos and a fresh cheese enchilada. To top it off everyone can out, put a sombrero on my head and sang happy bd! I had mixed fajitas (Parrillada) that had beef, chicken, shrimp and I think pork too with onions and bell peppers. It also had rice and beans. Mexican, more like mex in a can. Place was pretty empty but service was terrible, food was cold and took 3-5 business days. Absolutely insane that this place is still open. Prefer gas station sushi over this. read more

We just needed a snack so we each ordered a taco. I got the shredded chicken taco and had to pay extra for added tomatoes and guacamole. It came as a tinga chicken..very drippy and "barbequey." Not my favorite...and as for the quacamole...it was non existent. My husband ordered a Mexican style carnitas taco and it was greasy...tasted old and reheated. On the up side, the lemon water and salsa were delicious. Service was minimal but the lady was nice. On our way to Savannah we had stopped in Metter, Ga at El Mariachi for Mexican food and it was absolutely wonderful with chicken, steak and shrimp fajitas at $12.50 and a 34 ounce draft for $3.50! The sweet tea was perfect. The food was outstanding as was the wait staff. We passed them by on our way back home only because we weren't hungry yet when we passed them. read more
