In town for an appointment nearby, on a Friday afternoon, so walked over for a late lunch early dinner (4pm). Arrived between the potential crowds so only a handful of customers at this time. Establishment is located in the historic area of downtown Dublin. Parking out front and around on adjacent streets. Inside is very well decorated and designed. Mixture of modern meets rustic and wide open. I was seated right away at the window. My server was Evan and he was very helpful as we discussed a few items on the menu since it was my first time being here. Having grown-up on the coastlines of the country, I really like seafood. I chose the dinner grouper finger plate with coleslaw and fries. I was not disappointed. In fact, this was some of the best fried grouper I've had anywhere in middle Georgia. Fries were well seasoned, shoestring style and the coleslaw was very smooth with no bitterness. The only thing that took me by surprise were the hush puppies. They are sweet and so I had to inquire about them. I found out they were made of funnel cake style batter and not cornbread. They were more like a small dessert to me. Good, but I would've preferred regular hush puppies. Outside that, the meal was very, very good. The service and friendliness of the staff gets high marks as well. OMG....SALTWATER FISHERY... so disappointed in the service we received it is almost a slap in our face to be treated so badly by someone that actually made sure she wanted us to know she was the manager lol as if we were afraid to let her know Kristina or Christina was very disrespectful and need to truly respect her customers. We gave them 3 strikes so we are out... no need to go back to a business that do not respect the customer. To be truthful the food is not tasty and not worth the money they charge , we are truly not impressed by Saltwater no service rude manager fishery. My family enjoys going to Saltwater. We like the variety of the menu, but we especially like the service and friendly staff.

The Baja taco really good. The sweet bread hush puppies are so good. They use to give the bread out for free but people were asking for more. They started charging for the bread. There is a roof top here. They have groups to come out sing. Nice place. read more

Overall Good. Overall, we had a good experience at SF. The food was good and service was decent. There was an issue with my daughter's kids meal. I spoke with the server and let her know my concern. The server spoke with the manager and said my daughter could get a new meal or her meal would be comped. My daughter did not want another meal so we had it comped. The good news is the restaurant did do something about my complaint. However, I think the manager should have come to our table and apologized for the mishap. To me that is excellent customer service, but that is rare these days. Overall food was good and I would return. An amazing find on our first trip to Dublin GA. We spent most of our Saturday drinking and sampling food at the bar with Jace then headed to the Flybridge for live music. We had steamed shrimp, fried crab claws, hush puppies. For dinner we had scallops and fried Oysters (I did mention we spent a lot of time here) and also had a half dozen steamed Oysters on the half shell. Everything was truly outstanding. So much so we are back for Sunday lunch and the Crab Cake appetizer is out of this world. What started as a stop on the way to Tybee island will now be a destination for future trips. read more

I wish I could give this a negative star review. Booked reservations at this restaurant in advance to enjoy a nice evening with my wife for Valentine's Day. We arrived a bit bit early (6:45) for our 7:15 reservation but they had plenty of seating available and we were sat immediately. We had our drink, appetizer, and meal orders in by 6:55 (as per printed on the receipt). The only problem was between that time and 8:37 we had only gotten our drinks, salad, and appetizer (which we only received our appetizer after asking the manager about it it around 8:00). By 8:30 I had watched several couples come in 30 minutes after us, order and receive their food before ours made it to the table. I finally had enough and decided to ask for the manager and let him know I was done waiting for food that wasn't coming and I wanted to settle my check on what I had received. This evening was one for the books and they lost my business for good. The kicker of it all too was coming in expecting a menu selection to find out that they changed the menu. They originally had a $125 menu for two which was at some point changed to a $95 menu for two. My husband and I decided on Saltwater Fishery tonight for dinner, around 5p. Wasn't crowded, nice atmosphere. We ordered Calamari, our waitress Jessica, stated it was a little spicy. It was so tender, a mild spicy flavor, with an aoli sauce. OMG it was delicious! Then we had the Wild Caught GA Shrimp & Fried Fish, w/baked potato and coleslaw. It was very good as well! Pulling off the interstate for lunch, we decided to look for something local vs. chain fast food. It took a few minutes of driving to get here, but it sounded worth the stop. A cavernous space, there were only a few tables occupied when we arrived & it was a bit chilly inside given the cold spell. We had our choice of seats & were pleasantly greeted by our server. I ordered the fried wild Georgia shrimp basket with slaw & sidewinder fries. Time to get food was bordering g on long when it arrived. I made reservations for Saturday, December 13, 2025 for 12:00 noon lunch, for a party of 4. This was to be my girl friends of 20 years plus Christmas luncheon. Upon arrival at 11:45, the note on the door said closed until 2:00 pm. Well since I had a text confirmation regarding my reservations I did not think anything of the note. Inside the restaurant, the servers appeared to be busing clearing away tables of a large party, I inquired from one of the servers and she stated it would be a few minutes before we could be seated. So, my girl friends and I waited and chatted for about 20 minutes. I then approached another server who informed me that they were closed until 2:00. I advised her that I had reservations and she stated that I would have to talk with the manager. The manager stated again that they were closed and I showed her on my cell phone the text with the reservation, She stated I must have made the reservation online. I advised her that I had spoken to a person to make the reservation. She then stated that she had tried to call but did not get anyone, which was not true., I told that no has tried to call me and I have the call logs on my phone. She then stated, well then it's going to be another 15 to 20 minutes before we can sit you! At this point we have been waiting for well over 40 minutes for a confirmed reservation, My girl friends and I decided to go across the street to Company Supply restaurant, where we had great food, great service and a wonderful Christmas Luncheon and fellowship. We stopped in for a midweek date tonight and everything was great. Service was quick and efficient. We had the flatbread for our appetizer, as we do each time. It's delicious but it's also the only appetizer I can eat with a shellfish allergy. I had the chicken picatta and it was perfect. We are here for dine in. The atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable. Bathrooms were nice and clean. They start with a funnel cake hush puppy with a honey butter. It was awesome. For the appetizers, we ordered quite a few. The seafood pimento queso was fantastic, with a deep rich seafood flavor with large chunks of crab, lobster, and shrimp in it. The calamari fritters are delicious. The buffalo fried cauliflower was very tasty, and finally... The Crab Cake. The Crab Cake is best crab cake ice ever had. Generous hunks of crab, great blended flavor, with a fantastic sauce. I ordered the scored flounder, which was fantastic. They scored it open so the entire surface was nice and crunchy. The peach chutney was fantastic. The seafood sampler was great. Salmon was perfectly grilled, shrimp was crisp and well flavored. Scallops were awesome. The blackened oysters unfortunately were somewhat overcooked. The choice of offering broccolini is a great choice and it was awesome. We finished with dessert and drinks on the roof. Really comfortable sofas, relaxing atmosphere. We got a really tasty Kentucky bourbon pecan pie and a great key lime pie with a Saltwater Sunset, which was a fruity blend of goodness. I've been to eat at Saltwater Fishery once and have been to the rooftop bar, Fly Bridge, a handful of times. I have to admit, atmosphere-wise, the rooftop bar is the best place in Dublin to hang out and grab a drink. The food on the other hand is a big pass for me. I am not a seafood person for one, so I can't comment on the seafood, but what I did get, the risotto, was not good. I didn't even finish it or bother to take it to-go. It was flavorless and undercooked. I have tried the food from the Tiki Hut on the rooftop bar and was also unimpressed. The best food (and remember, I can't comment on the seafood) is the hushpuppies. They are addictive! Drinks are amazing. Staff is friendly.
