Every time I'm craving ice cream I always go here. I love the vibes of this place and everyone that works here is super nice. It's also very clean always. They have seasonal flavors which adds excitement to going. I always get the lavender honey it's my favorite, it's an odd flavor that tastes amazing. I was having the absolute worse day of my entire life, my car broke down, my girlfriend of 8 years broke up with me, i lost my job and had to move back home with my mom and my dog died(the last one is most important). all that changed however when i went to salt and straw and was greeted by sam. he immediately made my day better and made me laugh for the first time in a LONGGGGG time. i hope one day he owns the place so he can continue to spread this joy with more people. ps. i got a new dog and named him sammy (inspired by sam obviously) read more

I am so glad they are doing samples!!! They had stopped due to rona. But this place is poppin' with unique flavors that just works. I just had a seasonal flavor with goat cheese and habanero. IT WAS DELICIOUS. It did not have a strong metallic flavor a lot of goat cheese/milk gives. It was perfectly sweet and balanced with the berry flavor. Almost like the goat cheese and blueberry combo when you eat a shark coochie board. They also have flavors made for the Miami folks. They teamed up with Panther Coffee and Salty Donut for a permanent menu option. I'm looking forward to their monthly temporary selection though. I want to see more crazy flavors that I have seen in their Portland and LA locations. read more

This location is busier than the one in Coconut Grove. However, that doesn't take away from the amazing options they have and the way that the staff doesn't make you feel judged for wanting to try multiple flavors. I've been to salt and straw in the Bay Area, so I was interested to check out some of the local Miami flavors! I got the mango habanero made with a local IPA, and I mixed that with a triple tropical fruity something or other. They were both so fruity and refreshing! Typically I go for heavier sweet flavors, but these were just perfect for a warm Miami day. The service here is also so friendly! Definitely would recommend!! read more

Thrilled that Salt & Straw opened a location here in Miami! This is so dangerous. While the ambience is not quite the same as on the West Coast; the ice cream flavors are just as intriguing and delicious. Even though I am a chocolate lover, the honey lavender is my favorite. It's a subtle taste and not too sweet. I tried the Rhubarb Crumble - wanted to really like but it was just a tad bit too sugary for me. Can't wait to go back and try out the other flavors. The only bad thing about this shop is that they took out all of their seats with tables and now you gotta eat your ice cream standing up ...which is very uncomfortable especially if you have a child. read more

I cannot say enough great things about this place. The service is wonderful, the ice cream is INCREDIBLE. You've got to try everything, and then get your two favorite flavors in a waffle cone (if you can narrow it down to two). They have some unique flavors, flavors that collab with other local restaurants, and a set of rotating flavors that are themed with the holiday or something fun. The ice cream is extremely high quality, and so is the service. Will be going back often! read more

It's ice cream, so you can't go wrong, right? Correct. But can you go really really right? Also yes - and Salt & Straw does exactly that. Despite there being at least 3 other ice cream places within a 2 block radius, I insisted that my friends make our way to Salt & Straw, as I'd heard great things from other friends, both about the actual ice cream quality as well as the unique flavors. Needless to say, my friends were quite pleased with the choice. The staff were super friendly, patiently putting up with the sample requests (and long decision time) of the group, as there were so many unique flavors, we couldn't decide very quickly. A few notable options included the local specialties (i.e., coffee from a local shop, cookie dough) and some limited time flavors. I opted for the PB&B - honed banana ice cream with a berry jam and peanut butter stracciatella - absolutely delicious. read more

This is the best Icecream Ever! We first found out about salt and straw last year and visited the Coconut Grove location many times. After visiting this location last year we were very pleased as the employees are EXTRA friendly at this location. Today we entered the Wynwood location after exploring and saw that the Berries Berries Berries series had returned after a year. Perfect part of South Miami.
