A big thumbs up for the wood fired oven - we had some lovely oven baked fish. The staff are very friendly - Brendan really made us feel welcome and took the time to talk to us even though it was busy. The food is a little bit expensive for pub food though. I think that this is easily the best option for eating in Swansea, it was the only one recommended by our B&B hosts and other locals.

I'm not entirely sure what type of pre-cooking they did on that kale, but it totally worked. Kale on pizza and you wouldn't question it. I was a tad disappointed that it was a white pizza without sauce (hard to tell from the menu since sauce wasn't listed on any of them), and I could have gone for more choices. That being said, it was one of the better pizzas I've had in Australia, and if you are looking for somewhere to eat post-MONA, this is close. I normally get a medium so I can have breakfast pizza the next day (for reasons stated above). I've never eaten in at Paesano, because (as other reviews have mentioned) it's a bit cramped for dining in. Also, I don't live too far away so it serves me well to call up to order my takeaway, then take a meander up the hill (checking out the awesome Hobart views en route) to collect my pizza.
