I found and bought the motor I wanted at a different dealer. When I approached Mr Jett with a question about my motor he basically told me to take it back where I bought it and he would not honor the manufacturers warranty. He now stated he can get the engines and has them on order. The other dealer had a ware house full of these engines and had no problem getting them. So it appears Mr Jett is pushing Yamaha's competitor if he doesn't want to sell them he should drop the line.

Last year, he repaired paint damage on a…read moreused car I purchased and this year he repaired a dented bumper (due to damage from my own driveway and trying to get the car out between other cars) and paint damage on the same car from a shopping cart and a deep scratch car on my truck. He did a great job blending the colors and the results are great. You would never know that any repairs were done. The prices are reasonable and he was quick to return messages and schedule an appointment. I don't leave reviews often but I highly recommend Color Solutions. I cant be happier with the results.

He rolled up at my place with an enclosed trailer behind his truck, and his trusty dog along for the ride. He evaluated my boat motor's condition/performance while it was running with a temporary water supply, reassembled the water pump, and then recognized that a rubber connecting bushing at the water pump housing discharge was missing (that I did not even know was needed). As it was late afternoon, and over an hour and a half from his home, Robert gave me advice on the missing component, how to install it, and on reinstalling the lower unit. I picked up the part, installed it per Robert's advice, and the water pump worked! I was so thankful for the review posted by the gentleman with the blown head gasket, as the feeling I got from reading his review is why I called R & R. Fantastic and honest mechanic! I broke a spark plug off in my 4 stroke Honda 130 outboard engine…read moredays before we were scheduled to leave for a family vacation. The boat was essential to this trip. Desperate to fix it I called R&R on a Sunday evening with little to go on but an Internet search result. To my surprise, Robert answered my call. He sounded good on the phone, felt for me and my situation and allowed me to drop the boat off that night at his shop. By 10 the next morning he called me with the diagnostic. Water in my oil and a very seized set of threads from the old plug stuck tight in the head. Really bad news! Robert checked compression to make sure the block was good before we went further. He then pulled the head in no time and found a blown head gasket was the cause of both issues. That evening he got the old rusted plug threads out. That took serious skill and finesse! By the next day he had the parts and my engine was purring like a kitten and looked like brand new. This was a difficult job that others wouldn't have dared to touch. I'm sure many dealers would have condemned the motor as soon as they saw water in the oil, too. You can trust R & R. He's my guy for all my jobs here on out.

There are plenty of competent boat shops out there, but this is not one of them. They have had our boat since May..... And they still have the boat (now September) - that's the entire 2025 summer waiting for them to fix a simple small oil leak. The boat was running when it went in, but apparently no longer runs. We did pay quite a large sum of money to briefly discover (in July) that the boat wouldn't run at all, even after they "water tested" it before we picked it up. So, back to the shop the boat went, and still remains today. We have never received a call to discuss diagnosis of the problem or plans for repair. The last conversation was today when i CALLED THEM and was told the engine is basically shot. So from a functioning boat to a blown engine under their watch. How happy would you be? How satisfied with their knowledge and customer service with would you be? Just some things to consider before you consider using them. And consider these things very carefully before you entrust your boats, etc to these incompetent people. I have a strong feeling we will be seeing them in small claims court very soon.

We even negotiated the sales price prior to my drive down there. Everything was exactly as he described it. The boat and motor (which they had tuned up prior to selling) run great. I as so impressed with their customer service, honesty, and Chris' knowledge of boats and motors that I took it back for installation of some electronics. Couldn't recommend these people higher.
