The courts have been recently redone, and are in great shape and play good, they have a clay court I would like to try too. The staff where friendly & helpful and the food & beer were delicious. Very enjoyable sitting on the shaded deck, while watching a great game, with a few 5.0 players grinding it out on the show court, while enjoying my tacos n beer with friends... what more could you ask for.. They have a small but good selection of workout machines & a lovely little room down a hallway with mats for more private workouts on mats. The murals throughout are amazing, featuring local artists & landmarks/scenes of interest & there are explanations of each in the hallway. The staff is always friendly. Locker rooms are not elaborate but have what you need (showers, lockers, toilets, etc.) But I don't see a scale for weight in there... that is in the hallway (they have 2 -- one does BMI, too, I think... but I don't weigh much, so I can't speak from experience.)

I like that there's sign in/out sheets for bikes, treadmills and elliptical equipment, that way if your short on time you know you'll be able to jump on and get your heart pumping. I generally workout in tasteful attire and this tends to include my bra top. Today I was asked to change or leave. I find this rhetoric discerning because it puts us back on the women's rights time table by about 100yrs. I have lived and worked out in gyms all over including Israel, Pittsburgh, Ptld, Albuquerque and nvr was given grief at a gym for my choice of clothing. The employee couldn't even produce the policy which tells me it's BS. I did throw on a top to stay and continue my workout but asked on my way out if I broke a rule I'd like to know. They couldn't even find it?! Real nice. So, just a word of caution...no bra tops!

I see literally everyone ( women ) taking showers before swimming and after. All of the showers in the women's area work perfectly fine and have warm water. I don't have complaints about the pool, at least not currently. It is easy to get a lap lane in the morning as well. The overall gym is pretty basic for a hardcore gym goer such as myself, BUT, it has all of the basic equipment that most of us need to stay fit. The even better part is that it is rarely crowded ( at least during the day) and parking is easy. The outdoor track is in a gorgeous setting and the 3 mile running loop is decent for a run or walk ( though perhaps not so scenic :) For me, this place is a lifesaver. Let's face it, we're in Pojoaque, rural northern New Mexico, and I'm happy we have a gym at all. If you live nearby, I encourage you to check it out. The staff is friendly and the amenities are pretty good. I'm grateful that it's nearby.

I really don't know why this place wasn't packed. Really. This place has a ton to offer to the community. We were there for the pool, and it cost $2 per person to swim and use the water slides. The snack bar was closed in the middle of the day for some reason, and they seemed under staffed, but maybe with so few people using the center it was enough people. There is a very impressive skate/bike park out back that three teens were using. Apparently the ice rink is a big draw, but it was under repair while we were there.

We came here under the threat of some summer monsoon rains and it was fantastic. The competition…read morepool is currently closed but everything else was perfect. My son loves going down the slides over and over again, I like that it's a small pool by itself. The basketball is separate which is also nice, it prevents crashes. The graduated pool is nice and there is plenty of space. We'll definitely be back.
