We hadn't been here in a few years. We were pleasantly surprised. The stromboli was large and looked amazing The crust was great and amply full inside. It was very good. The Margherita flatbread was pretty tasty and a good size for one person. Caesar salad was alright. The place was super busy for regular seating/a table so I sat at the bar. I waited at least 15-20 minutes to be acknowledged by the male bartender. He kept walking past me and it took him a long time to get me a menu and a water. Overall though the food was good. Service could have been better and I didn't really appreciate the unknown "recovery fee" they automatically charged me for using a card. I would have paid cash if I knew about that beforehand. We have been to Salvinos in the past and the food and service is good. Went again recently and the food and service was the same, but what had changed was a, I believe it was called 'A Recovery Fee'. I have no problem to pay a fee if I use my credit card, other establishments that want my business dont charge an extra fee if I pay cash, which is what I do. I understand those fees hit the business hard, but if my memory is correct, Salvinos added 3% to the entire bill. They would be better raising the price of the food! To call it a 'Recovery Fee' is telling me you dont want my business and dont appreciate my patronage. read more

Stopped in here for a quick bite and to take a zoom meeting on the way home from out of town. The reviews looked good and the timing was perfect. The chicken Ciabatta club was good if a little dry and the fries were great. The price was alright and the wait staff brought the food out quickly. Overall it was a good, quick lunch stop. read more

Very accommodating for a large group. I called ahead a month before to make sure the place was suitable and they positioned us in the back away from others so we didn't disrupt them. Food was delicious. I didn't receive the seafood in my seafood alfredo so the waitress comped my meal, after I told her not to worry and that I had no problem paying for the fettuccine. It's good each time. Nothing fancy or crazy. So much on the menu that's it's hard to say what their specialty is but my family each gets different things all the time there (from baked pasta to pizza to burritos to a salad, etc.) and it has all been consistently good. My family and I came here for lunch as soon as we got into town. Beer: Founders, which was light and hoppy. Entree: I had the marghertia pizza flatbread, which was very good and very cheesy. It's made with flatbread crust, mozzarella cheese, and topped with fresh basil. I would say it's about 9". I was able to eat the whole thing by myself. I really enjoyed it. Final Update; Perfect delivery prices are better now (still not cheap, but I blame the app that they go through for delivery on that but it's whatever, we live close enough for pick up!) also the Alfredo is much better now (not sure if they changed it or if my taste buds changed) flat bread is great, pizza and breadsticks are great! Pros first: the food was good and the restaurant appeared clean. Cons: Our waitress wasn't around much. She did clear our plates toward the end, but we had to refill our own drinks twice. The lunch buffet is from 11-2. We arrived at 1pm and all the food was picked over and a lot was sparse -a few savory and dessert pans were empty or had scraps left. They only refilled ONE pan the whole time we were there. Nothing else was refreshed or replaced. I didn't get breadsticks, Stromboli, etc. Overall it was a good deal ~$12/person with pop. The food was higher-end buffet-type food and good quality. But, I'd go when they first open. Otherwise, you get old and picked over food with not as much selection (they were not refilling). Finally, the waitress was nice toward the end, but not attentive at all during the visit. The steaks are reasonably priced and absolutely delicious! The service again and again is 2nd to none! The ambiance is that of a sports bar with class! They seemed to have survived the COVID 19 saga forced to into submission by the Democrats but have proven that they will succeed no matter who tries to bring them to their knees! Great little sports bar in the heart of Wayland! I went there on a Saturday with a girlfriend to unwind and it was the perfect spot to meet. Lots of TV screens to enjoy the latest game, great drink specials ($6 domestic pitchers!) and good food. It's easy to get to with lots of convenient parking. So, this is the local sports bar in the land of Way. I ventured out tonight to specifically enjoy a beer and a meatball sub. This is the only joint in town for this combination. I was by my lonesome, so I bellied up to the bar after checking in with the hostess. I sat with what appeared to be (based on the familiarity and conversations with one another and the staff) several regulars. After 10-minutes of invisibility, the bartender offered to take my drink order. The warmth and personality of this server was on par with a butter knife, but the beer came and it was tasty. As I was making my selection of food, I asked if the the stromboli or the sub had more meatballs on it, she stated they both had the same, but go with stromboli. I did. After a decent wait, it arrived and looked nice. As I began cutting into it, I noticed that the one item I requested was nowhere to be found. In fact, I finished all but one bite of the first half before ANY meatball was on my fork. Apparently it is a "meatball" stromboli because they literally only use ONE bloody meatball in the whole thing!! What a ripoff!! The second half was no better. If this is the kind of "stretching" this place needs to do to stay afloat, I say let it go to the bottom as a mercy. I was looking forward to this experience, but it totally sucked in the end. I was there last week and ordered red pepper shrimp pasta. I got garlic shrimp pasta. We explained this to the waitress who clearly wasn't concerned. She took our food back and all they did was splash some red pepper sauce on it. We decided not to make a scene and tried to eat it. When we left we tried to talk to the waitress again about our meal. Nice place to watch the game as they have a ton of TVs. I also have heard that they have a really good lunch time buffet. We came for dinner. The server was very friendly but wasn't really very knowledgeable about the menu or bar specials. I ordered the meatballs sub which was really good and the side I choose was the onion petals. My colleague ordered chicken nachos. The first one came as beef nachos, then when we asked her to take it back the second one also came back as beef. WTH? The worst part was the bill. Apparently Chicken on nachos is a $2 up charge which is not listed in the menu or verbally mentioned buy the server. Then, my bill showed an extra $3 for the side of onion petals. When I ordered, she asked me which side I preferred: chips, fries or petals. She really talked up the petals but never mentioned that they cost extra. I went ahead and tried them with the assumption that a side comes with the sandwich. They don't. This type of service really burns my britches and I wont make a scene about it but it is reflected in bad tip for the server. Overall, the food was good, but all the extra issues that we dealt with made the experience less than pleasurable. Went in on a Sunday to watch a game, asked for steelers game to be put on 3 times told yes each time , never put on. Also ordered 2 bottles beers after waiting 5+ minutes to put the order in. After waiting an additional 15 minutes no beer and the game was never put on either, We left. Management needs to step up, on a Sunday where you know you have the games set your TVs up ahead of time to have each game on a tv so you can accommodate for your customers. If your waitstaff can not keep up, help them or hire more staff. Truly disappointing read more

This place always makes me angry, like REALLY ANGRY. The food is good... the beer selection is good. I mean, it's really a Uccello's by a different name, so it's a good model really. But, the SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. I've been twice, and both times the server was basically non-existent and would only come by after she saw one of us go to the bar on our own or every 35 minutes... whichever came first. We showed up for March Madness at noon on a Friday..plenty of servers and we wanted the buffet...we let her know that we planned to be there until 5 and our party would be large and would want to continue to order food and drinks after the buffet closed. Then as soon as the buffet closed, she brought us all our tabs and just disappeared. We weren't loud, we weren't rowdy, we actually tried really hard to be respectful.. the problem is, this happened last year too. The only way we got additional service was to go to the bar on our own or to corner the waitress to ask for more food or drinks. I won't be back, the service here is not good. I think they think they are the only game in town and that I can't get in my car and go down the road. We purposely come here because of March Madness and we want a good sports bar that won't be packed in a small town. Apparently that isn't the type of business they want here. read more

This was our second time coming here and the food has been really good both times. We got the pizza dunkers as an appetizer and they're amazing. They come with cheese sauce and marinara, and the marinara was nice and hot. For our entrees I got the create your own pasta with Alfredo sauce and crumbled sausage. It was very good. My boyfriend got spaghetti with seafood Alfredo sauce and they brought him spaghetti with sausage cream instead. We told the waitress, who was very apologetic and rectified the order.
