In a tiny room. Take allergy meds, wear an n95, and bring your inhaler with you. Clothes, skin, and hair still reek of air freshener after siting outside for 10 minutes. Plan to wear the mask home, bathe, then wash all clothes, rinse with vinegar and hope the smell comes out of my coat. I wish I were exaggerating even a tiny bit, but I am not. It is stronger than a Bath and Body Works store in that exam room. So, since this is how we must suffer now to get vet care for our animals, wear and n95, and go prepared for an allergy or asthma attack. Nobody there has a working nose.

Do not bring your pets or your family here…read more ​I am posting this to warn the community about the toxic and malicious behavior of the staff at Countryside Veterinarian on Old Springs. Yesterday, I was publicly humiliated when a staff member wearing red scrubs called the police on me, weaponizing law enforcement to intimidate me over a completely fabricated lie claiming my 3-year-old child was left "unattended." ​The girls working the front desk joined in, giving me dirty looks and treating me like a criminal. They didn't just provide terrible customer service; they actively attacked my character as a mother and used the police as their personal bullying squad. ​When the officer arrived, he completely realized the situation was a massive, ridiculous overreaction and didnt take any action. Interestingly, the officer explicitly told me he always brings his own dog here--proving this office felt bold enough to pull this stunt because they have a cozy relationship with local law enforcement. ​To make matters worse, when I called them out on Google, the owner, Dr. Caudill, immediately tried to reply and lie to the public, claiming "no woman works here" to make it look like I had the wrong business. Nice try, Dr. Caudill know exactly what your staff in the red scrubs did, and you know exactly who I am. ​They thought they could intimidate me into staying silent, but the public needs to know: if you clash with this staff, they will not hesitate to attack your character and falsely report you to the police. I called to see if they could possibly get my Aussie/Great Pyrenees in a day earlier to get groomed since she was a mess. They were able to squeeze her in! I drove from pikeville (45 mins) and she was done in about 4 hours, which isn't bad regarding the last minute change and all the dark, sticky mud/clay she got into. They took their time making sure she was completely spotless, de shedded, and cleaned around the ears and backside. Super grateful for their accommodation and the work they did on her! She smells and looks great! Also, they have large individual crates with mats in the back to make sure your doggo is well taken care of before and after their time. I am definitely coming back here for all her grooming needs! Very clean building, very cute decor, and pleasant staff!
