I had stopped going to them because they cut my dog during a previous grooming, and didn't tell me…read more Someone from the business called and left a couple voice-mails saying they needed to reach me. I never returned their call. Another voice-mail was left saying that a lot of changes had been made and to give them another chance. Had a family funeral to attend out of town, so I decided to try them again. On the 3rd day of their stay, my fur babies were groomed. When I got back into town, I pulled up to find both my babies panting heavily in the extreme heat out front. Went in, paid, retrieved my babies, and headed home. This was this past Friday. Both dogs laid down in the car and couldn't stop panting hard. I put the AC on high for them. I was concerned but didn't have any water in the car. Got them home, and they both laid on the bare floor. I got their water dishes for them. They drank a lot. Then they slept a long time. I had to wake them to go outside. That's unusual behavior for them. They're very active. They kept drinking a lot. One of my dogs seemed to come around slowly. The other did not. I went to check on him Saturday evening, and he didn't respond. I looked at his rib cage and could tell he wasn't alive. After touching him and moving him, I confirmed he was deceased. I can not say for certain, but I think between the drying during grooming and being outside in the heat, perhaps my baby overheated. He never regained his energy once I got him home. My family is devastated by this! I should have never taken them back to this place. I'll NEVER go back there!!!

My puppy started the daycare at the West location a few months ago. They have a swinging door at…read morethe desk where they keep the small dogs up front behind the desk... My puppy is 8 months old and 4pds that gets excited to see people and other dogs. If anyone behind the desk opened the gate, they wouldn't watch her, and she would escape. Well, due to nothing being done to fix the problem, they let her escape outside to the parking lot and luckily was able to catch her. I only found this out through a family member telling me. The only thing they would do is put her in a kennel alone all day. When I found out she escaped outside, I went and picked her up and was told she could only return if I got her training through Andy... the "trainer" at Chinquapin...haha, well I call Andy for help and he tells me no, he will not train my dog and she is not allowed back unless she goes outside in the yard with the big dogs. Really, you want to put a 4pd Chorkie outside with 50-100pd dogs...So I told them if they aren't willing to help train a 8 month old puppy she would not be back. And they could care less... so if you have a puppy that loves people and other dogs I would not recommend this place!! If you want someone to train your puppy, good luck with Andy. His attitude about my dog was uncalled for!! Sincerely a very disappointed Dog Mom!!

We had a 4-day trip and needed someone to watch our senior dogs. This is where Dawn from All Fur the Luv of Paws came into the picture. After meeting her during the consultation, we felt very comfortable leaving our babies with her, which we did. She was very thorough and was also in constant contact with us during our vacation. One of our dogs is a picky eater and she went out of her way to try anything to make him eat. We are happy to announce that we did not come home to skin and bones this time around. Lastly, we have cameras in the house, but it was nice to get picture updates via text messages regarding whether they ate, about their walks, etc. We used to worry about our dogs when we would go on vacations, but not anymore. We will now use Dawn to watch our babies and would recommend her in a heartbeat.
