I had stopped going to them because they cut my dog during a previous grooming, and didn't tell me…read more Someone from the business called and left a couple voice-mails saying they needed to reach me. I never returned their call. Another voice-mail was left saying that a lot of changes had been made and to give them another chance. Had a family funeral to attend out of town, so I decided to try them again. On the 3rd day of their stay, my fur babies were groomed. When I got back into town, I pulled up to find both my babies panting heavily in the extreme heat out front. Went in, paid, retrieved my babies, and headed home. This was this past Friday. Both dogs laid down in the car and couldn't stop panting hard. I put the AC on high for them. I was concerned but didn't have any water in the car. Got them home, and they both laid on the bare floor. I got their water dishes for them. They drank a lot. Then they slept a long time. I had to wake them to go outside. That's unusual behavior for them. They're very active. They kept drinking a lot. One of my dogs seemed to come around slowly. The other did not. I went to check on him Saturday evening, and he didn't respond. I looked at his rib cage and could tell he wasn't alive. After touching him and moving him, I confirmed he was deceased. I can not say for certain, but I think between the drying during grooming and being outside in the heat, perhaps my baby overheated. He never regained his energy once I got him home. My family is devastated by this! I should have never taken them back to this place. I'll NEVER go back there!!!

We love Happy Pup! Our pups have stayed there twice -- once for 10 days and another time for 6…read moredays. Lisa, one of the owners, is great at communicating both before and during our pups' stay. She's also great at meeting my husband and I and asking if we need help the moment we arrive. The indoor/outdoor shelter where our pups stay protects them from the elements and provides each of them with their own individual space. They are also given a long walk daily and provided a large area to play together. Every day, they are fed and given their medicine as prescribed. Our pups receive lots of attention and are happy to stay. Next time we need dog boarding services, we will return to Happy Pup.

My kids are really, really awkward and skittish, yet she was able to reach them both and they loved her. I like the fact that she did not crate them. My kids it seemed got along well with her Paw Kids. Imagine our surprise when we found our kids with hers. We were shocked and excited. She has separate fenced zones for little dogs and big, they can go in and out to play, and she made sure that my large new rescue, a young and tall lab mix, had the company of a wise older Great Dane and a playful younger dog. My older dog had his own safe area. That fellow is an escape artist in storms, but Michele was alert to his nervous behavior and looked after him. You just feel like the dogs are minded well and loved. We will return. Our dogs seemed happy and not at all eager to leave their canine camp-out! Trust me, this is no easy feat!). Teddy usually falls asleep on the ride home from camp as she's so exhausted from her doggy adventures but you can tell how happy and incredibly well cared for she is during her time away. We've had issues with boarding facilities in the past (check my reviews if interested) which left us hesitant to booking, especially considering the expense that comes with larger breed considerations. However, not only does TCC have better care, facilities, and customer service; they are also easier on the checkbook. Teddy definitely has a home away from home in TCC, and even though our new move puts us another 15 minutes out, we wouldn't go anywhere else!

The staff is excellent and the daycare is well priced for the amount of interactions and oversight the staff gives the pups. I am able to watch my dog from their cameras at work and she has a blast. From…read morethe first day K-9 Meadows opened, I have intrusted my very dear Lexi (9-year-old chocolate lab) to their care. And now, Finn, our 4-month-old chocolate lab(fondly referred to Satan"s Spawn) has joined Lexi at doggy daycare. Although I have hired a trainer, the staff has taken it upon themselves to reinforce his training during his stay. What a difference! I have personally gotten to know the entire staff and I can say, without a doubt, they are the nicest and most competent people to oversee the care and well-being of their charges. Devin is an exceptional groomer. She treats every dog with special care and attention. Jay and his staff are ever ready to play with each individual dog. Each new dog is carefully screened for temperment and how they may interact with other dogs. Based on each assessment, each animal is paired with other dogs of like temperment, age and size. In addition, each dog enjoys its own huge run with temperature controlled indoor accomodations. I particularly like the large, natural grass play area. Every time I go to pick them up, one of the staff is actively playing with a resident one-on-one or no more than 2 or 3 other pups at the same time. This is individual, special care! I hope who ever reads this will visit Devin, Jay or one of the special staff members and see for themselves why K-9 Meadows is head-and-shoulders above the rest!
