I was scheduled to return on Wednesday at that point I paid 1475 CASH to the receptionist and then went in and spoke to Eric I answered a few questions probably 30 minutes at the most ( he even mentioned how quickly we got through the questions) Later that day I received a call from the creditor and they decided not to garnish so I could save my credit from being damaged for 7 years I believe anyone would have done the same. Thursday morning I called and left a voicemail since the office is closed on Thursday's that I wanted to cancel the bankruptcy before it was even started or my paperwork was reviewed I spoke to Eric and I could tell he wasn't happy but nothing had been done I was quick letting him know I'm talking a matter of a day!! That afternoon I returned to his office to pick up a check for the 1475 I assumed there would be a small charge since he did go over some questions with me. As he handed me the check I noticed it was only for 1125.00 !!!! He took 350.00 of my money because he was mad that I cancelled he didn't do anything to deserve 350.00 I believe that was very unprofessional of Eric Stamps. Please beware of this law firm if they would take 350 from a single mother that only has one income they would take advantage of YOU too. Also the check he gave me was so unprofessional my bank almost didn't cash it it was not printed on the lines and they spelled my last name wrong. She didn't want to bec as a result of hernia mesh infection she has a defibrillator and pacemaker but was told that if she did not accept it, her case would most likely not even make it to court during her lifetime because there are so many of them and that if she accepted this settlement agreement, she would receive the funds at the same time the following year, the latest. Well, that was almost 6 months ago. She has attempted to call the office a couple times and left a voicemail with nobody returning her calls and today when she finally got a hold of someone and asked why she has not received her money 17 months later, no one can give her an answer, and she then asked where the progress was at and what the timeline is looking like and they told her they have no idea. so they were dishonest and manipulative with what they told her when convincing her to accept the agreement. I think that this is unprofessional, and I do not believe that they cannot give her any and we will be contacting another attorney to see what options we have at this time.

My family had traveled to Vandalia, to catch Operation  Santa Sleigh, for those of you that don't know, Operation Santa Sleigh is where first responders from cities all over the dayton area gather and make a trip down to Children's Hospital to provide the children with some joy during the holidays. My family and I love to go see this every year. We were making our way down and needed to pull in somewhere and this was the first place we found. We came upon an open lot, where others had gathered and decided this would be a safe choice, not knowing the neighborhood. We parked and made our way to the side walk to wait for the first responders to make their way down. Upon entering the lot, a man in a large black truck began yelling that we could not park here. With no explanation the male individual proceeded to continue to be extremely rude to the rest in my party, threatening to have us towed and trespass. He even circled back and yelled at everyone in the sidewalk to move all the cars. We asked for five minutes to watch the officers go by, since Dixie was closed anyway. We were told no if a very aggressive way and told we should have called for permission. After we made contact with this company after this all occurred we received a nasty email back. It is truly sad that this firm or whatever they claim to be, does not support community engagement and support with first responders and the children's hospital. The way they handled this, by yelling from the middle of the road, threatening us, and acting like an entitled child shows the true colors of this company.
