Through all these years, my encounters with the staff have been courteous and professional. More importantly, I appreciate the consistent customer service level extended by the staff. As an example of their customer service, I accidentally broke a lens this past summer that was just replaced in late 2023. I was expecting to pay full price for the replacement even when the staff informed me that she will see what can be done. To my surprise, I was informed that the lens was still under warranty and would be replaced without additional cost. As a result, I would recommend Vacaville Optometric Center for any of your vision care needs.

I will only get glasses from the optical department at Costco because the value is so good. I really like my eye doctor, but the frames are so incredibly expensive. I can get two or three pair pairs of glasses from Costco for the same price as the glasses through my optometrist. I really like the sale where you get $50 off additional pairs and I've always been pretty satisfied with the different selections of frames. They have luxury frames in the glass case and some funky or unusual colors and shapes that are really fun. There's always staff available and I usually get seen very quickly. They usually have the glasses ready for pick up within a week if not earlier. It's really smooth operations where you get a phone call or voicemail to let you know that they're ready for pick up. I'm very satisfied with the optical department.

That was an unexpected surprise as that customizing option isn't even available on their website yet due to how new the frame style is. I wound up buying a pair of sunglasses (Fingerprint Slivers) but leaving the stock lenses in. I have worn nothing but Oakleys for the better part of 15 years now. I haven't purchased a pair in over a year however. After telling this to the employee he introduced me to the Oakley Type O club. It rewards customers with points and special sales / events. I was there because I have narrow angle, glaucoma, and the doctor proceeded to tell me that my very high pleasure was not a big deal and that lots of people live with high pressure and did a throw exam and left it at that. I was with Kaiser before and they took my pressure reading seriously and gave me drops to lower the pressure I've left. It went to uC Davis and I'm getting wonderful care and they take my narrow angle glaucoma, seriously.

Anna helped me so much and went out of her way to find me a good pair of glasses that were budget friendly yet quality, fit right and look good with my blonde/brown hair.
