After leaving work yesterday I came to the horrifying realization that I was in charge of a birthday celebration at my company the next day. Panicking, I log onto my sam's account and scramble to place an order for a custom full sheet cake and see that i've missed the 2pm deadline for next day pickup. I call the bakery and ask if they have any sheet cakes available in store and this wonderful angel puts a full stop to my troubles and puts in my custom order after the deadline. I have never been more relieved in my life, that feeling of pure joy is something i'll be chasing for the rest of my life. I love this place...I have a huge family and this place you can buy stuff in bulk. It is cheaper to buy in bulk than on its own at your local grocery store. It has electronics, food, glasses, everything you need, etc. It is just like Costco and you also get food or drink samples along the way. There is also a rewards program that pays for itself. The rewards program is better than Costco that sends a coupon at before your renewal yearly. Sam's also has scan & go where you can scan your own items and pay then you don't have to wait in lines. Grab a snack after shopping. Get a pizza and drink and ice cream for cheap. I recommend this place for big families or for parties or companies that have snack bars. It's like a big warehouse with goods. read more

This is a great Sam's gas location. It's located 5 minutes from the Wichita airport, so it's a great place to fill up a rental car before you drop it off. Also, the gas is very affordable. read more

You can't go wrong at a Sam's, but this one has the smallest snackbar of the 3 in Wichita.The service is good, the deals are cheap, the food in the snackbar is excellent! The overall place is vast! Good deals on bull items all over the storea efficient checkout, get checked at the door, back out and off you go! read more

Watch when you check out. Things ring up higher than what was on the shelf. If they purposely place tags, so you'll accidentally buy the most expensive item. read more

I like the convenience of this place, though I'm not completely convinced that I'm saving more than my yearly membership of $35. Certain items are cheaper or are just not available elsewhere. Like their daily baked bread. It's nothing fancy, but it's good and there are no preservatives or anti-mold agents in the ingredient list. They were running out of them so quickly that I had to call in early to reserve mine. But Aldi's has cheaper items when they are in stock, which is something you can't always depend on. So while I've considered dropping my membership, I've never actually done it. They're photo department is stellar. There is an older gentleman that works there who is always very cheerful when I see him. There is no where in Wichita (maybe aside from AAA) that you can get passport photos for this cheap ($4.96). Also, if you are a frequent traveler, there is a Kodak machine there that copies 2x2 ID photos for your passport/visas...HUGE savings there. They even provide the paper cutter and scissors if you ask. Sometimes there is a long line at checkout. Also, aside from Mastercard and Discover, they don't accept other credit cards. You'd have to use your debit card. read more

This applies to all 3 stores. On this one, I only give 1 star. Have notice that there are quite a few canned items that are out of date. Not just talking a little bit but several months. Found a bunch of evaporated milk that was almost a year past the date. This was on Maize Road. Would recommend checking dates. Could end up sick. Other than that, they seem pretty good. read more

I think almost everyone in Wichita has been to Sam's before, but in case you haven't... You need a club membership to shop here. Business membership is ~$45/year which allows you to come in earlier. Not sure about the regular membership price. Sam's Club is cheaper and more convenient when you need things in bulk so I'd recommend coming here for such things (cereal, toilet paper, meat, etc.). Beware though, not everything is cheaper so be a smart shopper and browse ads if you have time and care about saving $. Since there's such a huge selection of things, your shopaholic side might appear so expect to walk out with emptier pockets than you originally expected to when you walked in. Staff members are relatively nice and things are well stocked here. read more

I use to be all gung ho about my Sams club membership! Till today when I arrived at 910am to buy some groceries since I was in the neighborhood. I was told that I couldn't shop there right now because only first responders and healthcare people can shop. Very poor business practice! Especially since we have paid for a membership Sam's club! So they need to treat all their members equally and not give special privileges to certain fields of the workforce! When this pandemic began, my job was classified as essential, and I worked through the pandemic going to work every day! Then I'm told that I cannot shop because I'm not a First responder or healthcare! Sams club needs to cut the special privilege crap and treat all their members equally! SMH! 10 more months of my membership and I'm not going to renew! I guess I'll try Drive the extra miles and just to go to Costco instead. Thanks for nothing Sam's Club!
