This is a private facility so the family knew when the time came we may need to move him. The facility was much less expensive then what we could find near our homes, our father had chosen Dallastown, and we were all pleased so far. Why change. His stay in the Nursing Center was short. The material products used here are low budget, generic, issue causing. With nurse to patient ratio at 1:26 and our finances making impossible to move him... The least I can do is warn others!!! This place is a no for me…read more My mother-in-law is there currently and can no longer eat and the staff doesn't feed her so we have to go in daily to make sure she eats. I've gone in several times to see food and drink spilled on her clothes when she was able to feed herself. We pay a lot of money for mediocre care. Also, my husband was having his mom sign some paperwork and a nurse (Dawn) asks what it was. (Not really her business) and when he made a smart comment, she proceeded to call other family members accusing him of doing something illegal?? THEN the business office says they are reporting him for elder abuse?? He is there daily to feed and visit his mother and is her POA. This is completely unacceptable and adds more stress to a family already dealing seeing their mom declining. This is not what long term care should be like. I would recommend Bethany Village. I've have good experiences at that facility.
